We installed a Generac generator alongside our country home in Wisconsin to provide a source of heat in the cold winters whenever the power went out. Now that we're living in Florida we installed another Generac 22Kw recognizing the possibility of hurricanes. When our power was knocked out this past October by Hurricane Matthew, the generator automatically immediately kicked in and ran continuously for 50 hours until the power came back on - never missed a beat. Would highly recommend this product & well worth the cost of installation. Also provides great peace of mind.

So far, so good. It's installed and is showing that it's ready to go. It's been in for about three weeks and does it's automatic test each week. I feel guilty wanting a power failure to happen so i can be sure it does exactly what it's supposed to do. It will eventually happen and I'm ready for it. Worth the price and piece of mind to keep me and my family up and running.

Generator works as marketed. 
During Hurricane Matthew we lost power, our Generac generator started within seconds and we were with power the entire outage.
I like the Mobile Link feature that sends email and txt messages keeping me informed of the generator self test and status.

Installation was very straight forward with our installer.  Looked better than other installs I had seen in the past.  Unit is definitely quiter and more efficient too.  The 10 year warranty Is amazing and is certainly a manufacturer testimony to the quality we can expect to receive from this unit.

Sleep Better Knowing Power Is Thete

We live in an area where powers goes off each time the wind picks up above 5 mph ... well, almost.
Six months ago we decided to install a 22KW standby Generac generator with transfer switch with Generac Mobile Link.
Apart from a small issue at start due to a defective air filter (which would make the generator choke under certain conditions) which was rapidly identified and solved, we are most happy with our new generator. It kicks in as soon as we loose power, and within 20 second or so our power is restored and very stable whatever was on at the time (ovens, electric range, AC, etc).
The mobile link allows us to check the status of our generator even when we are away from home and provides additional security.
Finally we also installed a surge protector for the whole house including the generator.
This generator is still quite noisy, but it seems somewhat less than some other generators we hear in our area.
It is most important to choose the right contractor to install this generator, especially with the transfer switch and with all the rewiring that may be needed. Ours was stellar, and this was an important part in our positive experience.
In short, we are very happy with our purchase, and would buy the same again.

Works as expected.

Generator arrived on time and was in excellent condition. Delivers on every aspect of description. Best price on market after comparing to several other units. Nice after sale offers on warranties and service. Would recommend to anyone. Installation was uneventful and operation after install was flawless.

This product was an excellent purchase

We have not had the occasion, thank goodness, for the product to show us how well it performs during a storm power outage or any other instance. My parents and my brother both have Generac products and are very happy with their performance and I see no reason for us to be disappointed, should the Generac be called upon to provide the power we need to run our whole home.

Great product. Very quiet when running it's tests every 2 weeks

The 22 kw generator is economically priced and is very easy to activate and setup. The wiring schematics are very easy to follow and installation is a breeze with the 200 amp service duty rated transfer switch. The transfer switch provides load shed capabilities to deenergize heat pump electric heat and other major loads when the electrical demand is high to prevent overloading of generator

It's a good investment and a wise choice for standby electrical needs when your normal utility is off and the great thing is that it's fully automatic.

The auto switch generator we had installed has already paid for itself with the amount of times my family and I lose power in the woods of Maine. It takes a meme moment to kick on, but runs better than my electricity from the electric company.

1st Generator and the start of a return customer

We purchased and installed our 22 KW generac with the automatic transfer switch about 7 months ago and have used it twice. It worked exactly as advertised.  Power was restored within 15 seconds and provided clean, dependable power to the whole house.  When outside power was restored, the transfer back to outside power was seamless and the unit automatically shut down.

Peace of mind at a fair price

We purchased it about 2 years ago and it pretty much has failed us when the need arises during storms or other weather in climate conditions. This was bought because I have a cpap machine and need it to sleep. Also to protect the contents of our freezer and fridge.
