This ice melt works well, even down to negative temperatures.  It is easy to scoop and tends to not clump and bind like other products.  The bucket isn't the easiest to open, but it does tend to keep the product dry and is easier to scoop from than a floppy bag.  The more uniform size and shape also makes it friendly for garden hand spreaders.

Excellent Product for the upcoming winter

Purchased when our weather kept going from snow to rain to ice on top of snow. It worked perfectly. My driveway and steps and sidewalks were spotless at a time when most neighbors couldn't clean their sidewalks due to a hard layer of ice over the snow.  My son advised me to keep this product on hand due to how well it works. When I saw the price at SAM'S CLUB I purchased 4 buckets and gave 2 to my son. While many snow plows were struggling to get through the ice and snow, this product just melted it away.  Definitely would recommend it.  p.s.  I prefer the bucket to the bag---easier to work with by someone of my age.  (73)

BEST ICE MELT EVER.

This stuff is great! Best product for concrete driveways. Starts melting within seconds. I stock up as soon as I see it in stock at the store, otherwise it sells out and I'm caught without any for the rest of the winter or I have to pay a higher price somewhere else

Snow and ice melt

We discovered how cost effective this is about 5 years ago when they were out of the ‘regular’ bags of salt at the store.  We haven’t bought anything else since!  It probably saves you money as you don’t have to salt as frequently because it gets the job done.

Nothing but

We have been using this product for years. We also annually seal our concrete driveway. Snow & Ice Melt has never damaged the concrete, and it is reasonably priced at Sams Club.

Years of Happiness

This snow and ice melt is very good for our Wisconsin winters.  One doesn’t need much sprinkled on sidewalks and concrete to do the job.  The particles aren’t huge like rock salt.

Lasts!

The Excel Snow & Ice Melt is a GREAT Product!  However, the new "BLACK" bucket it is packed in is a pain to get open!  The plastic lips on the lid are much stiffer than the "White" plastic. I have to use a pair of pliers to get the lid off.
