Dorothy Lynch has a velvety smooth and creamy texture. The flavor is so much like my mom’s homemade French dressing. It’s a good dipping sauce, a flavorful boost for a sandwich, a change-up for potato salad dressing and of course a sweet and flavorful dressing for fresh lettuce.

Yummy French style dreasing

A lot of people don't think of red French dressing as authentic.  It probably isn't, but that's fine with me.  I love this stuff.  This is a "tomato soup" based French dressing, sounds weird, but it tastes great.  We had a very similar dressing in the Northeast called "Den" dressing.  It's not around anymore, but it was essentially the same thing.  That said I think Dorothy Lynch got it right.  Use it like you would use any salad dressing.  My favorite way is to mix equal parts dressing and blue cheese crumbles.  That and a splash of cider vinegar to balance the sweetness a little.  If you like regular blue cheese dressing you have to try this!!!  Sam's has it at the best price you will find.

Outstanding homestyle "red" French dressing

Versatile and flavorful dressing that took me back to my college days. I didn't know the name of the salad dressing we had in our college cafeteria,but one bite of my recent salad with Dorothy Lynch Dressing and it hit me,the exact same flavor and it's just as good as I remembered. My husband likes this to dip chicken tenders in too.It's great on a turkey sandwich in place of mayo.There are recipes on the Dorothy Lynch website for a lot of ideas to change up your menu.

Versatile and flavorful dressing!

If you have never had Dorothy Lynch salad dressing you are missing out!  Grew up eating on everything:  taco salad, dip steak in it, pizza, etc.  Had to order it online since the Southern states don't have it in stores (I'm a Nebraska Girl).  Better than Catalina, better than French.  You gotta try it.

BEST SALAD DRESSING EVER!!!!

This would be a great snack and it taste great, I just couldn’t drink it. I am not sure if it was the consistency or what, it’d just not for me.

Is there another dressing but Dorothy Lynch?  Maybe, but not for us!!  This is made in Nebraska but is not so popular, sales have been broadened to other states.  If you've never tasted his, try it and you'll see!!!

This is he best dressing I have found for my taste. I need the healthy type and this is perfect. Our local SAMS used to stock , but couple months ago...gone

eat well

This is the “secret” salad dressing of my people. I cannot get this salad dressing where I live. I did a search because I was desperate for a bottle. I was lucky to find a source for this dressing. 
I wish I could describe the taste. My palate is not so refined, but ask anyone from Kansas and Nebraska.  They will speak well of this dressing. It looks like a pale Russian dressing. Give it a try. You will like it.

A Mid-American Treasure

Living on the West Coast for the past 30 years, I truly missed Dorothy Lynch salad dressing! It's a taste of home (Midwest) and absolutely delicious. I was thrilled to find it again and even more excited about the bulk sizes. Now I can keep my pantry stocked and enjoy this dressing on everything! It's creamy, flavorful, and unlike any other salad dressing I've had. Dorothy Lynch hits the spot every time. Highly recommend!

Dorothy Lynch: A Taste of Home!

I was so excited to try this dressing after reading all of the reviews and was sadly disappointed. It is extremely way too sweet to use as a salad dressing so I am going to try to make a barbeque sauce out of it and hope it turns out good because I can not stand to waste food and don't want to throw it away. Will definitely not purchase again, unless the BBQ sauce comes out amazing. If so I will update review and give more stars but until then, it's a 1 star for us
