I’ve never had canned yellowfin tuna before. Fresh or frozen ahi steaks only.  That said, I really like this product. I mean, what can be anticipated from yet another can of tuna?  Right?  Well, not much really surprises me but this product did. It is super good. The surprising part is that it doesn’t taste like regular canned tuna or albacore. It’s different - good different. I’m not sure I can describe the difference in a review like this.
I like tuna and we eat albacore pretty regularly. That will continue but I can’t wait to try the yellowfin in the usual tuna recipes.
Clearly, I will continue to buy this and hope Sam’s continues to sell it.

No after Taste

I bought the 8 can of Dolores tuna in SAMS club the other day and i was surprised the taste is good,very light also its good with steam rice,we put lemon and taijin seasoning its perfect

This is the best canned tuna I have ever had! I'm from California and I was so surprised to see that Sam's Club sell it!!

The meat is mushy. Wouldn’t be great in Niçoise salad. Flavor is acceptable, not great. I won’t repurchase this product.

Quality lacking

Cans are very difficult to open despite having the tab to open; after half opening I had to use the can opener to complete the task!. Tuna inside looked like minced cat food.

Took long to open

This tuna is horrible!! It is like the tuna you get in a pouch. No nice filets, just  mushy tuna. WILL NEVER BUY AGAIN!

MUSHY

Gross and in soy! Yuck! Very unhealthy. I threw it in the trash.
