I was skeptical about this purchase but I love these sharp knives. i usually chicago cutlery but purchased these for our RV. Keeping 2 of these knives for home useage.

The cut everything with ease potatoes tomatoes corn and mangos all were easy to cut would 100% buy another set once these start to go bad and will definitely buy these as a gift for friends and family.

Nice (for being lower end) knives. Cutting board has non-slip backing, which is helpful, and also measurement marks. As other reviews have said, they are packaged very tightly- I'd recommend using something like a box cutter to free them.

The knives are so pretty, I love the white blades with the wood looking handles. The only con about the the white blades is that kids can confuse them for kid knives that are also white. Luckily these come with blade guards which are extremely convenient and provide the necessary safety I need around my kids. These knives make cutting so easy. Cutting through meat specifically is quick and effortless. The cutting board makes measuring precise, I definitely love this added feature. I wish the cutting board wasn’t made of plastic but I do like that it is heavy duty plastic and is very sturdy. This set is a great value for the price. I definitely recommend this set and it also could make a great housewarming gift.

Perfect affordable set

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Cuisinart 11pc Ceramic Coated Cutlery & Board Set is a keeper, and it also makes for a great gift. Included: a well-designed and sturdy cutting board and 5 knives with covers. The cutting board is my favorite aspect of this set-- it is high quality ceramic, thick, durable. The edges make it easy to hold, and the measurement marks are such a bonus for cutting precise sizes. The knives cover a basic range. They are lightweight, easy to hold; they work well, and they cut easily and smoothly. They are sharp, but not super sharp; and yet, these knives work well for fruit, veggies, cheese. This set as a whole is ideal for kitchen use, cooking prep; but I also like to use the cutting board as its own charcuterie board. Do note that the 11-piece aspect is counting the knife covers each as a single piece. A solid cutting board set that will allow you to prep with ease and precision.

love the cutting board; great knife set

The only thing sharper than these knives are the crazy packaging it comes in. I slice my finger open trying to free one of them, while also getting several smaller cuts from the random jagged tough-but-also-brittle razor-sharp pieces of plastic that is inevitable. If you buy these, also buy bleed stop and bandaids, you’re going to need them. The other reviewer said the online ones come packaged differently, go with that instead and save your fingers. They are pretty though, and having firstfinger experience, pretty dang sharp.

Nice knife set, but ...  I purchased the white set online but decided to get the black set instead, so I went to the store and made the exchange.  The online set comes in cardboard boxes, with each knife in its sheath in a plastic bag.  The in-store version has the most ridiculous clamshell packaging I've ever seen, each knife and the cutting board individually completely sealed around in a way that makes it nearly impossible to open.  It took me 45 minutes to free all the knives and the cutting board from the clamshell, and I feel fortunate to only have suffered two small cuts to my hands from the process.  I considered just throwing away the cutting board rather than doing battle with the plastic, which is sealed not only around the edge of the board but through its handle as well.  Just ridiculous.  Two stars off for the horrible in-store packaging.

Buy these online, not in the store

Knifes are nice but I have the same problem with the other buyer having a difficult time to get through the package to get to the knifes. I have miner scratches but could be worse. How would an elderly person deal with this. I'm lucky I didn't have deep cuts from opening the plastic! I used several different scissors.

Nice knifes but good luck cutting the plastic

The ceramic coating started peeling off so I had to throw them away. I didn't want that chipping off in my food. Overall a waste of money.
