Corralejo is one of only two distilleries allowed by the CTR (tequila governing body in Mexico) to make and bottle tequila outside the state of Jalisco. Miguel Hildago who is the "Father of Mexico's Independence was born at the Corralejo Hacienda in Guanajuato, where this tequila is now made. Corralejo Reposado is the only tequila aged in three distinct wood types at the same time: American, Mexican, and French oak. Since it comes from a different region in Mexico than 99% of the other tequila brands, Corralejo has a very distinct&nbsp;flavor profile including its&nbsp;spicy character.

Best Tequila... glad can finally get at Sam's Club would be a special trip for me to go to the liquor store in the past had been turned on to this by my neighbor when I lived in El Paso who used to be a tequila distributor much smoother and genuinely cheaper than the name brands they sell it most bars this however far exceeds those in taste and quality in my opinion.
