This is our second Coleman Backhome Screenhouse. We love the ease of assembly, the durability. Our first one suffered abuse at the hands of not-too-careful adult children, we taped it up and continued to use it for five years. The canopy on this new model is different, it seems more durable. And the sidewall is a feature we will use often to extend our shade. The screen mesh is fine, keeps bugs out and allows for unobscured vision. This is a great product!

Best Screen Tent On The Market

Cant believe its still up.  Had a really bad thunderstorm with strong winds and its still up.  I used every stake when i put it up and it didnt budge at all.  Got it for backyard grilling/eating so bugs dont take over.

Takes a while to setup by strong

We really like it.   We were able to put it up in about 20 minutes    It’s very stable and plenty of room for our table and 4 chairs with room for more.

Great   No bugs.

Easy set-up, very sturdy. Easier with two people but one person can do it. Once you set up the first time it is much easier the next.

Coleman Screened Tent

"The double-thick Polyguard 2X™ fabric stands up to the elements–season after season"....Sorry Coleman, but this verbiage could make one believe it DOES stand up to rain....Many people would see the term "elements" and think this refers to outdoor elements, which includes rain imo....You need to be more specific, or change the term from "elements" to something else.

Description a bit misleading

Should definitely read the description when purchasing. It is not meant for rain of any kind. We bought this to take camping because we liked the idea of a screened in pop up canopy. For as much money as this costs I would have expected it to stand up better. It was very easy to set up and put away but highly disappointed it stood no chance with any kind of rain.

Nice tent but not meant for "all weather"

Instructions are very vague and actually sewn onto the case this comes in, making it very difficult to read as you have to hold the whole bag in your hands in order to read the directions. This does NOT set up as easily as stated/reviewed. The frame is an absolute bear to telescope out to height! It took my wife and I over an hour to set the tent up, mainly due to the poor instructions.

DO NOT USE this tent if any rain is expected. This is NOT designed to get wet AT ALL. Instructions clearly state that subjecting it to rain will cause damage to the UV protection of the tent itself. My wife and I bought this originally to act as a summertime set up for our small back patio to keep the bugs at bay. Needless to say, we did leave it out when it rained, and while it did prevent most of the rain from getting inside, it still leaked pretty heavily in some areas. This was during a light to moderate and very brief rainfall.

We're very disappointed that a brand name like Coleman would produce something designed for the outdoors that is NOT DURABLE during even mildly inclement weather.
