The whisky itself is everything you expect from Chivas Regal—smooth, rich, and perfectly balanced. There’s a pleasant aroma of honey, vanilla, and a hint of fruit, followed by a taste that’s mellow with notes of orchard fruits, creamy toffee, and a touch of oak. It’s incredibly easy to sip neat, but also mixes beautifully in a Scotch & Soda or even a simple Highball.

This is quite a strong whiskey and not one I would recommend if you are just starting out on a whiskey tasting journey. It is more of a traditional flavoured whiskey and I enjoy it with a ginger ale or over ice.

An acquired taste. Rich, bold best chilled. It's one of the best scotches I've ever had. I keep mine in the freezer, a perfect glass after a long day.
