This review was collected as part of a promotion,  and the opinions are my own. The flavor is very good. Not too salty as many others are. Lots of potatoes along with the corn beef. Crisps up well and is seasoned well. I personally would not add any seasoning to it as it is done the way I like it. My only complaint with the product is the size of the can. I wouldn't normally by this large of a can and hope they have a smaller size available. The price is good as well for how much you get! Would definitely recommend!

Amazing Flavor!

Right off the bat, I noticed the makers of this product included a handy pull tab sticker which lets you pull the lid off the can after you cut it open without touching the product or exposing fingers to a sharp edge. Nice touch!

The second thing that I noticed was that it smelled great. We couldn't wait to fry some up with some eggs.

First bite impression: The potatoes are al dente, and the meat has a blended soft texture. I'm used to corned beef that has more chunks of meat, but that certainly wasn't a dealbreaker. Good savory flavor, just the right amount of salt. 

I ate my serving with a side of eggs and toast. It was a satisfying meal. I have a small family. We can't finish the entire can in one sitting. So I plan to put the rest into burritos or something else to pack in my lunches.

Hearty flavor and smooth texture

I always order corned beef hash for breakfast when at restaurants. This is just like what you get at most of them.  Salty, fatty, and delicious with eggs. Perfect for a large family

I was actually really impressed with the quality of this product. My husband is a big corned beef hash fan, and the quality was up to his standards so I consider that a win!  Seasonings were right on, wasn't too salty. We really enjoyed it. We have a large family (8 of us in all) and we have enough to feed us all again, so this would be great for a large group or save the leftovers for another time!

Great product!

This corned beef hash by Chef-Mate is delicious and filling. It wasn't to hard to cook. I cooked it three different ways, in the oven, on the stove in a cast iron pan and on the griddle which cooked the fastest. I cooked until it had a golden crisp on the bottom and top. I didn't have to add any seasonings.  I topped it with eggs. It taste more like potatoes than meat and that's fine with me. Good eating

One of my favorite breakfast meals is corned beef hash and eggs. I always order it when I'm at a restaurant. I came across a Chef-Mate brand and decided to make my own corned beef  hash and eggs at home. It came in a 6 pound can that I didn't mind because I have several pint jars that I can fill and stick in the freezer to use at a later date. I wanted to try it several ways to see what what I personally liked. I tried the microwave first. It tasted ok but a little to greasy for my taste. Then I fried it. It was amazing. The hash fried up so crispy, just the way I like it! I like that it's not salty, so I can add my own. I like that the potatoes are not mushy and there is a perfect amount of potato to corned beef. The only thing I didn't is that it pops when you cook it so keep it covered or you will have a mess. That being said.... I will purchase this Chef-Mate corned beef hash again. Crispy corned beef hash!

If you arent familiar with canned meat products, the color is a bit of a shock as it is bright pink. Tasting it straight out of the can it was very good but very greasy. 

Browning it on the stove makes it a more appealing color, but splattered a lot because of the fat. Draining the fat helped with the amount of grease but overall it was still fatty. (Expected from a canned hash though). 
The flavor was great and would be perfect for a gravy. I fried it and had it with eggs and a smashed potato.

Good, greasy but manageable

I was excited to try the corn beef hash as I had corn beef hash at a restaurant and was hoping to recreate the dish.  The 107oz can is a large one, so I put some in containers to freeze for another time.  The corn beef hash has small chunks of potatoes, onions and other seasonings mixed throughout.  It really does have a good flavor, however, the bits of corn beef was smaller then I would have liked.  I guess hash can be like that though.  I mixed the hash into an egg omelette and it came out well and quite tasty. I think I would buy this hash again if it comes in a smaller can. Nice Tasting Hash

This review was collected as part of a promotion, and the opinion are my own. I enjoyed this product. I think 102 oz is really big. The corned beef hash was good though. It seemed like pretty standard corned beef hash when I compare it to the other corned beef hash I would get in a can. I would say. I wish it was a bit less oily because I did have to pat it out with paper towels because of the amount of fat. Taste wise, its great. The key is making sure you cook it until its crispy, else wise it will be a bit too mushy. It would have me at 5 stars if it was less oily and maybe if the corned beef had been more beef like. I highly recommend it if you are using this for a large group of people or family (if not get a smaller size).

Great for large groups!

The chefs made corn beef hash by Nestlé was very good once it got cooked down in a cast-iron skillet. I thought you could use a little bit more seasoning to spice up the flavor. I also think it would be great for a camp out or weekend at the lakes. I also wish the instructions were a little bit more thorough like I'm cooking time.
