Gave it 5 stars but the wife bought 2 of the jump starters one for me and one for my grandson.  Mine has a problem and I am going to have to return it.  I charges up just fine, then when you unplug it discharges itself back down in about 4 or 5 hours.  My grandson's one works just fine, guess I just got a bad one. My luck!

Defective one out of two

This jump starter from CAT is really great.  You need to charge it up before using so it is ready to go.  We have a Bobcat that is very hard to start. Fter the Jump Starter had a full charge, we hooked it up to the Bobcat and it started up immediately. This is a powerful piece of equipment to have on hand.

Powerful Jump Starter

This CAT jump startter is an excellent tool to have around for emergencies, if you keep it charged no waiting for someone to come jump start your vehicle if you ever need it.  I have used it to jump my tractor and I keep it close by on the job. It's a durable,  quality built product, I would definitely recommend this to everyone.

Nice Jump Starter

I ordered this for my dad and this is his review of the product:. It is a nice. It's durable which is important but it's very basic. It jump starts great but I would have thought it would have had a few more bells and whistles but it doesn't. Which is okay as long as you know that. Overall it worked well though for what it needed to do.

Nothing Fancy - gets job done

Indicator shows "yellow" on red/ yellow/ green scale. when plugged in to charge, indicator shows red. can leave it a couple hours,  a couple days, a couple weeks - no matter. never changes. LED "area light" (which is weaker than my cell phone) and red LED "emergency lights" (which are literaly 3 weak LED bulbs in the opposite side as the white"area light") both work. Connect it to a cat and try to use it? Everything Immediately dims until rapidly turning off. My dad bought one off of Amazon that did the same thing. it's pure junk that bought the CAT name

Does not hold charge, multiple units tested

DO NOT buy

I've had this jump start box for around the month. I am a Roadside Assistance provider and am called to jumpstart many vehicles. This jumpstart box hasn't cut it and last week it failed completely. I definitely would not suggest this to other roadside assistance providers or a family vehicle..

Less than impressed.

The unit feels heavy and quite substantial, however, it would not accept/hold a charge.  The full panel of lights (red, yellow and green) never lit, while charging or after a couple of days of being charged.
