Different materials are used for the bezel to create a two-layer structure that adds a new dimension of shock resistant. For models that use stainless steel in the upper part, shock absorbing resin is employed in the lower part. If resin is used in the upper part, fine resin is used in the lower part to cushion against impact from the upper part. This also has made it possible to create a wide range of different designs. This watch features a 52mm gold-tone stainless steel case with black resin strap. Other features include shock resistance, tough solar power, 200 meter water resistance, scratch resistant mineral glass, world time with 31 time zones (48 cities + coordinated universal time), daylight saving on/off, Home city/World time city swapping, 1/100-second stopwatch, 5 daily alarms with hourly time signal, full auto-calendar (to year 2099), LED light for the face (Full auto LED light, Super illuminator, selectable illumination duration (1.5 seconds or 3 seconds), afterglow), LED backlight for the digital display (Full auto LED light, Super illuminator, selectable illumination duration (1.5 seconds or 3 seconds), afterglow), 12/24-hour format, and battery level indicator.</p> <h3>Watch Care</h3> <p>Since we rely on timepieces to keep us on schedule, they should always be in outstanding shape and work as intended.
