[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great soil. Wasn’t compacted like other brands upon opening. Mixed with our existing soil, perlite and compost as the bed we were topping off was larger than the bag size given up review and this bed is housing veggies that needed a chunkier soil. 

Soil was pest free, absorbed water easily and drains quite well. No wet feet for our plants.

It’s a bit of a rough time to have basil indoors (New England winter), but this soil along with grow lights has been keeping this basil alive! Highly recommend. Haven’t needed to fertilize yet either, it’s been about a month since I re-potted and it’s been steadily growing.

It’s the best

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Used the back to roots raised bed mix for my new flower boxes by my front door. Soil has a great texture for maximum drainage. The soil is a good mix and had very little clumping coming out of the bag. Bag size was is great and fits in my car and moving it near my grow boxes thru out the yard and decks! Fantastic product.

Great for planting

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The packaging wasn’t sturdy and came with a hole so the soil was getting everywhere. But the product itself has been good so far. Started using it for some tomato seeds to prepare for the spring. Will need to wait a little to see if there will be any growth. I like that it is organic as well.

Good Soil

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was super excited to try Back to Roots premium hybrid soil but was extremely disappointed. I was looking forward to using in my raised beds to help promote plant growth but upon opening the entire bag had mold growing. I am uncertain as to what caused this but YUCK! 
Needless to say this will be disposed of far away from my property.
