We chose the Avery Top-Loading Pin-Style Name Badges for our outdoor function because they were easy to use, inexpensive, and a good size for our needs.  They arrived quickly and were a perfect fit for the Avery   7451 laser and inkjet name badges we had selected.

Simple to Use and Just Right Name Badges

The name badges were an excellent price.  I used the Avery name badge template (free on the Avery website) and printed the name badges on the inserts.  The badge inserts are perforated, so they're easy to separate.  I previously printed name badges on card stock and cut them apart, so these new ones save me lots of time.

I bought name badges and inserts for our community service club.

Bought Avery pin-style badges to make name tags for our 50th high school reunion. Once I setup the template using mailings in Microsoft Word, the perforated card stock printed 140 name tags flawlessly. The plastic name tag holder with pin is sturdy. Holders are reusable. So much classier than stick-on name badges. Regarding photo: I taped over the last name to protect privacy.

As a volunteer teacher, I don't get paid for my supplies, so cost is a huge concern. And with many people losing their name tags, I have to replace them often. This is an incredible price, and totally worth it. Plus, it's a good name tag

Name tags worked great as a less costly option!  Easy to design & print using averys site.  The only thing I didn't like is the first time I printed, I entered the template number on the tag sheet & not many choices for club name tags.  When I choose to put a small lined border on it, it printed one side on the perforation so you couldn't see the border after tearing them apart. The second time, I put in the item number from the box & had many more choices that already had borders.  It was easy to fill in the names.  They both fit the same on the tag so check by the item number on the box & the template number to find the most options.  I wasted a whole set of tags.  Still a very good  & economical option.!

Great option!

Our local Walmart no longer carries pin-on name badges, but they were available at Site-to-Store. I was pleased with the quality, but the pins tend to shift, especially when unpinning. The pins were taped into position, which seems to have solved the problem.

Exactly as described for a good price

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The badges are nicely constructed and work fine, however, unlike some of their other printable badges, the ability to design the layout and text of the badge is extremely limited.  I ended up using adhesive backed inserts due to their more extensive design options.

Pluses and Minuses for the Pin-on Badges

The badges were okay. They were a little more pliable than I had expected, but they did the job. I would definitely try to find a different badge if I were to need one for another project.

Easy to set up but impossible to print. I saw several questions regarding how to print the lbadges but Avery only says adjust the manual feed -doesn't work and the answer is really not helpful. The first time that I am dissatisfied with an Avery product. I will stick with the full page badges in the future. and plan to return most of those that I bought for the office.
