This chair was a replacement for another that did not withstand the passage of time.  The leather deteriorated to the point that it tore and ripped. Lumbar support was also poor.  The Alera Veon chair that we purchased from Sam's is exceptional!  The leather  feels much thicker and sturdy, and the lumbar support is exceptional.  I would highly recommend this chair!!

A fantastic, comfortable chair!!

I’m a heavy set guy and I needed a chair that could handle not only my weight but also my size. I’ve had this chair for six months. I use it at least five hours a day and the chair is as good as new. The arms have a decent distance from one another so I’m comfortable and they are not pressing on my hips like with cheaper chairs. The leather has not peeled off or broken apart either. There in a knob that controls lumbar support and you can graduate to your liking. Easy assemble too. Worth every penny.

High end quality for a reasonable price

Before I purchased this chair, I read the reviews, one person said they tried several office chairs that they just didn't like until they got this one. So I thought, I think I'll try. It's true, chair is very nice, am pleased with it... Am glad I purchased it.

Awesome chair!

After reading the on-line reviews I purchased this chair for my husband for Christmas.  I'm pretty handy at "assembling" but this is not a one person assembly project!  One comment from a buyer noted that he had the chair together in less than 30 minutes...if he did I'm really impressed!  You'll most definitely need two sets of hands for this one, however, once assembled I think you'll be very happy with the result as this chair is extremely comfortable & has great lumbar support!

Very Comfortable, Quality Leather Desk Chair!

Good quality chair at a reasonable price.  Some difficulties in assembly:
The eight (8) screws for securing the arm rail to the seat and back should be longer.  Suggest threadless nipple for better lead in.  The allen wrench supplied does work but a manual nut driver would be better to prevent sore fingers.

Quality Chair at a Great Price

Looks nice. Firm Seat. Bonded leather which is not the way it was advertised. Bonded leather tends to be inferior and break down sooner. I truly hope it lasts longer than my past experiences with Bonded Leather peeling. 
Otherwise, it looks ok and was reasonably easy to assemble.

Office chair

I bought this chair for my office because I thought it was bigger and more plush than 2 Serta chairs I bought at the Sam's store for $79 on sale from $99. The chair is about the same size and looks about the same but doesn't rock backward at all, no matter how loose the adjustment is made.  The chair is ok but nothing special and the Serta,which is essentially the same is more comfortable, more versatile and much cheaper. A better value in my judgment

Buy the Serta instead

Chair is fine, but despite claims, it does not have sufficient padding in my opinion.  Seat cusion is also too short for anyone even approaching six feet tall.  Backrest is only shoulder-high, so despite how it looks, what appears as a head rest is really at shoulder height for me.  The chair is also relatively narrow.  Yes, dimensions are listed, but the chair I was replacing matched the dimensions and yet there was a significant difference in the two chairs' sizes.  I am at a total loss of how the dimensions are obtained.

It's just okay

I ordered the chair because it said it was leather and there was no mention of PU or bonded in any of the text online.  When I got the chair and assembled it, I could see it wasn't leather.  An extensive search on the manufacturer's web site revealed it was bonded leather, not leather.  I have previously had two bonded leather chairs - they only lasted about 2 years.  I have a leather chair now that I have had for over 10 years.  I immediately returned the chair to Sam's for a refund.  Bonded leather is not leather.  It's ground up leather scraps that is mixed with urethane and spread over a fabric sheet.  After about two years it cracks and peels.

Not what it says it is

I ordered this chair online after reading the good reviews. However, this chair is of inferior quality for the price. Not only was the stitching poorly done, there were exposed staples on the back of the chair. If the chair is made of leather, it is the thinnest I have ever seen. Lastly, the chair is also very uncomfortable plus my feet could not reach the floor, even in the lowest position, unless I was seated on the edge of the seat.
