My mama made cornbread just about every Sunday night, and after she moved in with my family years later, I made it for her. She used the recipe on the container, with one notable exception. The quantities of corn meal and flour are switched. She said made as directed was more like a cake. I still make it like she did, and it's delicious!

Cornbread? No brainer... but pizza? Yes! After I create my whole wheat pizza dough, I always use corn meal instead of flour to hand stretch my pie, to perfection ;)

I wish grocery stores in my area (Ingles, Kroger, Food City) woud stock this item.  It is the best corn meal ever but hard to find here in Knoxville, TN.  When will they understand that consumers want the best product, not the cheapest price.  Cheap corn meal is tasteless but Quaker yellow corn meal is absolutely delicious !!!

Makes tastiest cornbread ever

I have been eating Quaker Yellow Corn Meal all of my life. I grew up on it and when I started my own family, Quaker Yellow Corn Meal was definitely the way to go. I have tried other corn meals but they were too yellow and too finely ground for my liking. This product has been a main staple in my life for over half a century. I am glad to know that it is around for the younger members of my family to enjoy. Good quality products are a must nowadays.

I love it!

This yellow and blue box was used in so many ways by my mom which I now use myself. A smooth creamy bowl of porridge made from this corn meal would warm us up in the morning. At Sunday dinner it would be transformed into a fluffy, golden brown cornbread or corn muffins. And on Friday night it would become the crunchy coating for our weekly fish fry. A very versatile product which has lasted throughout the years having proven itself over and over.

Used By Mom And Now By Me

I don't understand all the negative comments. I've been using Quaker for years and only have good results. When making the corn bread for different recipes I may not use the sugar. People have to improvise. Quaker is great.

My entire family enjoys Quaker corn Meal.

How can I buy the medium ground corn meal you use to sell. I prefer that grind to the powder that is currently being sold .  My grandmother would turn over in her grave if she saw this. And the taste is just not the same .  Can you help me please?

Corn meal different

Have ALWAYS used Quaker corn meal for many years.  Last several times I have used it for cornbread, it tastes different.  It now has a funny aftertaste and I am now looking for alternatives because it is unpleasant.  Did you add a filler or stabilizer to it because it's absolutely not the same.  Sorry..

The cornbread recipe on back of box is awful..I used it and way too much flour and not enough cornmeal ..Your recipe needs revised for sure..worse cornbread I ever made..I did my own revision and was great
