Used the tilapia fish to cook fish pepper soup and it was very delicious. It has a very good taste. You may have to debone it before giving it to child because it has many bones.

Only buy made in China ones. Sometime they carry Mexico and Brazil ones, those quality are terrible, the fish was far off fresh.

I ordered this one accidentally instead of the fillets. I'm no slouch at filleting fish, but these had so little meat in the resulting fillets that I almost couldn't cook them the way I would with the giant fillets I normally buy. I suppose if you intend to cook the fish whole, then these would be somewhat convenient, already being scaled and gutted.

If you want fillets, look elsewhere!

I thought the fish would have been gutted better.  There were still "parts" inside when I went to stuff them for Christmas.  I wouldn't purchase or make these again.  I have a whole package that I now need to figure out what to do with them.

With the bones and smaller amount of available meat, it's hard to justify the price point.

I was disappointed in this purchase.  I did not know it was with the heads and fins on it. I will not purchase again.
