It can withstand up to 12 inches of rain per day, up to 18 inches of snow per day and winds up to 70 mph. With a simple setup design, it only takes a few minutes to install the weather cover making it ideal for emergency situations or unexpected weather. Equipped with a vented top, your generator will maintain natural cooling airflow to prevent overheating. Includes a refueling door that lifts open for quick and easy refueling without the need to disassemble. The door wraps around the side of the cover to brace itself against weather. Generator cover.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It is a very well made cover for the generator. It can be a little bit difficult to get the strap around the generator with everything in the right place by yourself, But not impossible. Read the directions first because it is important. How you put the pieces together when assembling it, when you first take it out of the box. Once it is together and you practice once or twice. It's a breeze and it does a nice job of protecting the generator from the weather. The sun and debris falling out of the trees.

Easy Button

Easy to assemble, easy to start, easy to hook up to my transfer switch box. Ran this generator on propane for 1 hour to my house with PG&E power outage. Was able to run 1 refrigerator in the house, 1 refrigerator in the garage, electric kettle pot, electric countertop oven, washer, 4 bedrooms with LED lights, and 3 TV's. Pushed the machine to maximum and performed. My only suggestion is to alternate between equipment that has high peak draws so you don't overload system. Got-her-done, were good to go and remember 1 is none and 2 is done.

WGen cover is durable and protect from elements

I bought the Westinghouse backup generator about 2 weeks ago. The unit appears to be a well built unit, and was very easy to setup. I have it connected to a 50 amp circuit added to my electrical panel. The 15 foot cable I purchased to provide power to our residence is certainly heavy duty enough to allow the Westinghouse generator to power our entire house. The generator cover was another addition to provide protection from the harsh sun and elements in Florida.
