I really like this salad. I think that the fact that it is vacuum-packed keeps the flavor better than most other bagged salads. I usually try to use it up within several days after opening, because once it's opened, as any  lettuce mix will, it starts to deteriorate. But the 2 of us normally will get 2 salad meals each out of a bag (I add other veggies and  proteins -  soy nuts, etc.) and that's a pretty cheap and nutritious meal.

Good salad

If you're a person like me who has to fight with their husband on the lettuce type this bag of fresh mixed iceberg and romaine salad will be perfect.  For me and my family of 3 this bag is more than enough. It usually lasts about a week. By the way -I like romaine and hubby likes iceberg.

Fresh and yummy!  I did find some hard core and big sections of the iceburg lettuce in it that I removed or cut smaller.  It lasted about 5 days in the refridgerator.

This is a tasty mix, but be aware that it is mostly iceberg, and not much romaine. Also, once you open it, you better eat it fast as it starts to go bad after just a couple days. It helps to remove it from the bag it comes in and partition it into smaller bags, lined with paper towels.

90% iceberg. Would be nice if at least 30-40% romaine. It is what I supposedly paid for. Quality is good if eaten with 3 days.

Where's the Romaine?

I got a pickup order. The lettuce went bad very quickly, but that isn't usually the case. I carefully select products, but sometimes when the employees do it, they don't make the best choice.

Sad Salad

The salad was bad when I opened the bag.  Normally don't have an issue with this product, but lately when I order from curbside pickup the salad is wilted and spoiled when I open the bag.

Salad greens were rotten when I brought it home and Sams Club would not give me a refund unless I drive 45 mins and brought the rotten food back to them. Don't waste your money.

Bag was apparently left out of refrigeration before I picked it up. Product spoiled immediately. Will not bother with it again. The only reason I tried this is because my club has been out of Romaine Hearts so long and I was getting desperate. I will not waste my money again.

I ordered this bagged salad to be picked up in store for a baby shower I was throwing. When I opened the bag the very next day it was all slimy and brown. I had to ask one of the guests to run to Food Lion for me to get more salad while I was finishing up the rest of the food. What a waste of money.
