The stainless steel base unit is sleekly styled and the heating elements are easy to clean. The only reason I've only given this product 4 stars is due to the pots being rather small at only 1.5 quarts each in size. However, you can't beat the price for this type of food serving unit. I'm sure one couldn't even buy the pans alone for the price of this complete serving unit. I've been able to use other pans on this units heating elements as well. It will accommodate 3 - 8" skillets as well as 3 quart size serving pots as long as the bottom of the pots fit on the heating elements. I've used my unit for out door patio and pool side cooking & entertaining as well.

Sleek design & very nice for buffet style serving

Disappointed that the pots & lids cannot be placed in the dishwasher. Try as I may, it is very difficult to put a shine on the pots after a cleaning. That said, using them, #1 purpose is very nice & foods are cooked perfectly. A good value for 30 bucks, but I wouldn't have paid the $60 plus that was asked prior to 'clearance'.

This is a very convenient set to entertain to a small group. I love it.

Use Barkeeper's Friend for cleaning stainless steel.  It will bring back the shine.

This was not what they had in stores, a much cheaper brand and the pans were so thin it would burn anything that was in them. Took this back for my money back.

Pans are too thin will burn easily !!!
