Great whiskey

Had more overtones of Scotch or Japanese whiskey (single malt should have clued me).. so it didn't hit the 5 star mark for me.  That doesn't mean this isn't a great whiskey and based on all the other reviews, these folks like this taste.  I thought it would be closer to a bourbon but I'm wrong, at least for my palate/taste.  I'll save it for when I feel like a Scotch.  Not worth what I paid but again, that's only because of what I expected.
