The ATS Air Rower 1402 from Stamina Products is engineered to fit your workout. The Air Transfer System (ATS) adjusts the resistance constantly to match your rowing speed. As you row harder, the resistance increases. The resistance decreases as you slow your rowing stroke. The three window readout workout monitor gives you feedback with strokes per minute, total strokes, distance, speed, time and calories burned. Engineered to Fit Your Place The air rowing machine comes loaded with features. The aluminum seat rail on the 1402 ensures a smooth sliding action for the padded seat. Delivered in great shape - no dings & all parts there, but one bumper had broken loose from the blister pack. Assembly was easy, taking 30-45 minutes at a very relaxed pace. Quality is very good. Smooth operation. Light weight and no surprises. Resistance is not adjustable yet you can row harder and faster to increase it. Computer is basic and works perfectly. I use this for a cardio workout and it's exactly what I needed. 
The one thing you'll need to add is a 1/2” hose clamp to prevent the main fold-away bolt from falling off each time you break it down. This was NOT in the parts or instructions, as if somehow it wouldn't be a problem. 
I researched a consumer rower for more than a year, hoping to find one for under $350 that had a five-star rating or close to it. That's a tall order. I didn't expect it to be in the Concept class, and I surely didn't want to pay $1,000-$2,000 for it either. 
But this Stamina 1402 met my criteria and hasn't let me down. I like it a lot, and I'd buy it again.

This Stamina 1402 Does The Trick

Great value and good product. I am 6'3 225 lbs and this product works well at my size. I have used it a dozen times no problem yet. Customer service immediately addresses a small damage due to shipping and replaced the problem area quickly. I am a former sales trainer for a very large company and I was very impressed in there process. Top notch company in my book...Thanks!

It arrived on time, I assembled by myself which was not difficult.  I had an issue with the meter not counting my strokes and called customer service.  They were very pleasant and sent a new one out very quickly.  Overall very happy but wish the seat was a bit more padded for people with boney butts like me!

Great machine for the money

We have had our rower for about 3 weeks and it is exactly what we were looking for. It does not take up a lot of space and it seems like a solid piece of equipment. My husband is 230 lbs and 6'1" and it works great for him. I had read reviews that said it was loud... I do not find that to be true. In fact I like the little bit of wind noise because it motivates me to try harder. The digital features are basic but that doesn't bother me because I use a HIIT timer app on my phone to customize my workout. I would definitely buy this rower again!

Great rower

This is a good machine for home use.  Took a little time for my husband to put it together, but the machine works well.  Only complaint is we had a little trouble keeping the batteries in the control panel.  When the panel was pushed in place, the batteries would fall out.  Not a big deal, just aggravating.

Good home rowing machine

I asked for a rower for my birthday and my kids bought me this one. It is a little noisy because its an air rower but it works great!  I like that the air blows on me while I'm using it and the faster you row the more resistance you get.  I would recommend this rower to anyone who wants a good work out.

Great Workout!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Assembly was relatively simple, and all parts were clearly labeled. Rower feels strong and give a good quality workout. The display isn't quite as intuitive as I would have preferred, but I might just be a picky. Good machine.

Quality

2 weeks in, I have no complaints.  Make sure you have a place to use it where other people won't have issues with the fan noise though.  The harder you work, the louder it gets.  I do have some long term wear concerns about the oar strap and handle but time will tell on that.  Very solid entry level machine.and when needed, it is very easy to fold up and move out of the way.

Outstanding Entry Level Rower

Purchased this a month ago and I'm using it just about every day.  I think the price is reasonable for the quality of this product. The air is a little loud but I can still watch TV while using the rowing machine if I turn up the volume.  Great cardio exercise especially during the winter months and when weather is bad.

Good value for the money

I received an old model from 2013. I contacted the Customer Dpt. regarding the fitness meter not fitting properly into the opening. No one responded to my email. CONS: pedals are too small, machine can tip over if locking nob is not well secure, strap may not be durable. PROS: it takes one to set it up despite two many pieces for a small machine.

Was this the right machine?

It works ok - honestly it isn't the sturdiest thing I've ever been on, and it plays side to side a bit when rowing hard. Not sure I'd buy it again if I were looking for a more serious rower.
