absolutely love it! easy to get started! maneuvers real easy! so easy to use!
No cord to worry about! just made my life so easy! Long hair doesn't get tangled and it moves right to carpet to hardwood and to rugs!! Its the best! and it goes around table legs and chair legs so easy! lots of battery charge and so easy to dump it...just put on the charger and it sucks the dirt into a container at the base. So only have to empty it every now and then, not every time! keeps you away from breathing that dust! its amazing

This vacuum is great. The small power head for furniture works wonderfully on cat hair. Love the power and suction. We live in our motorhome and it’s the perfect size.

Holy Moley! BUY. THE. VACUUM. I’m ashamed to admit that before this vacuum I rarely vacuumed. And I have TWO cats… Bow, I am ADDICTED to vacuuming. I use this at lease once or twice a day. 

It is the holy grail of vacuums. It is lightweight, easy to maneuver, somewhat medium noise level, and sucks up so much filth I didn’t even know was there! I love the auto-empty function and empty it about once a month. 

Negatives would be that I feel I get the best suction on full power/boost mode, it doesn’t get all the way under objects like couches, dressers and beds and wish it lasted longer to do my whole house. 

100% would recommend if your looking for this type of vacuum in this price range!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have been using this for a month now, and it’s a real poor vacuuming cleaner. It hardly sucks the dust, and after vacuuming many rooms including many rugs, it only have a cuple of dust inside its cup. When i use it it always goes into this lock so i always have to out my feet on to losen it so it can vacuum. Also it only vaccum cleans when you push it forwards, not backwards!! This is not worth the money!

I am generally a fan of Shark vacuums. I already have 3 (a robot, and 2 lift-aways). So, when I wanted to go cordless, I thought of Shark first. I bought this Shark Detect Clean & Empty system about a month ago. So far, I am kind of disappointed. The suction is kind of sucky, as in it has very little power.  It is a little heavier than I would like for holding it up to the ceiling to suck up dust-bunnies.  If I use one of the 2 attachments, the sucking power is even worse. It is also a PITA to have to carry the attachments around with me as I clean. They do not attach to the vacuum and only one of them attaches to the base.
AND, speaking of attachments, why can't Shark use a coordinated system where all attachments fit all (or most) of the vacuum styles??? I have some attachments from my older vacuums that I absolutely love. But, noooo, they can't be used with any other model.

Meh! A bit disappointed.

I would give it no stars. it might suck up some going forward but then it all comes out when you go backwards. it is the worst worst worst. I kept trying to get used to it and it just it causes more work than sweeping. what you end up having to do!

Don't do it

If I could give it 0 stars I would! Extremely disappointed in the amount of money I spent vs. the quality of the product. When I first got the vacuum I thought it was great. That lasted about a week. I am a person that was interested in this because I love to vacuum everyday and having something cordless was very appealing. I don’t even need to vacuum everyday, but I love an extremely clean home. It seems that after the first week, the suction on the vacuum steadily decreased and in order to increase suction, you would need to put it on a boost mode which only kills the battery extremely fast! I am at the point now that I can only vacuum on boost mode, and my battery is now dead within about 15 mins. I went to purchase a new battery and it says it is sold out online!  Absolutely terrible! I am extremely disappointed, especially as a dedicated ninja customer who has spent thousands upon thousands on their products!

Wouldn’t recommend to anyone!

I can not say enough bad things about this product! This is the worst vacuum that i have ever purchased. It does not pick up dirt, the door on the head doesn’t shut well, it spews dirt out the top and is very difficult to clean. I have to clean it after  every use or it doesn’t work. This was purchased a month and a half ago and yesterday it went into the dumpster. This is a dirty machine that does not function well! This is the first time i have ever left a bad review on any product that i have owned. I have never owned a shark in the past and never will again.
