What Materials Make up the Shelving System?

The shelving unit is built from commercial-grade steel. The steel wire shelves feature a solid steel frame supported by solid steel wires. The 1-inch diameter steel poles feature a graphite powder-coat finish that protects from corrosion in dry environments. The 3” diameter wheels (2 locking) are made of rubber. The bonus leveling feet feature adjustable threaded ends and a sturdy rubber base to maximize the loading capacity.

What is the Weight Capacity?

The total weight capacity per shelf when loaded with a 27-gallon tote bin is 50 lb. (on leveling feet or on wheels) for both the 4-Tier and 5-Tier units. Without tote bins, the 4-Tier unit supports up to 800 lb. on leveling feet or 500 lb. on wheels, while the 5-Tier unit supports up to 1,000 lb. on leveling feet or 500 lb. on wheels, evenly distributed across shelves.
