Select Surfaces Tucson Molding Kit is designed to complement Select Surfaces™ Laminate Flooring - Tucson (990144109 / 990144144). Each kit contains four moldings, each 44 inches in length. These moldings are easy to install and will add the finishing touch to your new floor! 

T-Molding  

The main function of a T-molding for laminate flooring is to provide a seamless transition between two types of flooring or floor surfaces of the same height, while also protecting the edges of the laminate flooring. It helps to bridge the gap between the two floors, providing a smooth and safe transition that reduces the risk of tripping or stumbling.  

Reducer Molding  

The main function of a reducer molding for laminate flooring is to ensure the transition from the laminate flooring to a lower surface. They reduce the height difference between the two floors or floor surfaces, providing a safety for foot traffic. This can be especially important in areas where the height difference is significant or where the transition is frequently crossed, as it helps to prevent tripping hazards and ensures a more comfortable and seamless experience for those walking across the transition. Common examples are the transition between laminate flooring and vinyl flooring.  

End Cap Molding
