The mattress is medium firmness and not too soft.  It is a little taller than my older mattress of 10 inches.  The 12 inches doesn't affect the firmness or anything  related to the mattress.  Overall, it is a great mattress to have.  I would recommend t to anyone looking for a queen size mattress.

Queen Size Medium Mattress

Mattress was firm yet soft. First tome on a whole I was able to sleep through the night. My chiropractor has noticed a positive change in my back, hips and knees.

The mattress came in good condition. It’s only been a few weeks but is very comfortable.

Worth it

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Had to replace my Tempurpedic and wanted a classic mattress. Before the Tempurpedic, I had Sealy Posturepedic and loved it, so I went with it again and I am SO HAPPY! I am 72 now and had hip pain, but no more!!

Awesome

Good buy. Convenient to find in store. However, this mattress really needs handles sewn in by manufacturer to move/adjust.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So far it's what we needed and expected. A month in and sleep is better, the achy body upon waking is better if not gone. Had a 7 year old mattress.

Comfy mattress

This mattriess is a medium support but it feels really "floppy" to me.  When I lay down, I feel like the bed swallows me and even rolling over is hard since you are sucked down.  Thankfully we didn't pay much so if we have to get a different one, we are not out too much money.

Not my cup of tea!

Purchased this mattress 2 years ago for my son who is in college. He comes home for the summer and some weekends over the past 2 years. Laying down flat on it is very comfortable. It is still very comfortable after 2 years (but obviously not in use everynight). However, on the middle edge where he sits when he is home, it has definitely buckled. It springs back up and is not visible buckling, but you can definitely feel that it is not as stiff as the opposite side.

Mattress

This is one of the worst mattresses ever made. I bought a Serta mattress at Sam's Club earlier this year and returned it about 4 months later because the whole center was caved in and was getting bad weeks after I got it. I paid about $50 more and got this one. Same thing happened.  Was good on night one but was already getting bad within a month.  6 months after buying it I can't sleep on it anymore. My lower back has been sore every morning for 5 months.  I weigh about 220 pounds so no mattress should be shot in that much time. I wouldn't give this mattress to a homeless man sleeping on the street. Thanks a lot Sealy AND Serta for ripping me off!
