My family has been using this great little vacuum in a studio apartment within our home and it does everything a sweeper should do and it does it well, too. I can cover the floor (tile, area rugs, and wood) in half the time with this light-weight swivel head.

Terrific light-weight vacuum sweeper

This is the best vacuum we've every purchased as far as deep cleaning and lightweight. If you own a pet, you NEED this vacuum cleaner. Empty the dust cap often for maximum results.

AMAZING suction for such a small unit.

After watching an info-commercial on TV about the Shark Rocket Ultra-Light Upright Vacuum, my wife and I decided to purchase one. We were very surprised on how light this vacuum was and how POWERFUL it was. The commercials don't lie, this vacuum picked up 3 times the dirt our old vacuum did. It's great on stairs and on the hardwood flooring too. This is a must purchase if you want a light vacuum that's easy to use. The price is also one of the primary reasons we purchased the Shark, more bang for your buck! You won't regret purchasing this must have vacuum.

best vacuum we've ever purchased.

I bought a Shark Rocket after owning Bissell vacuums for years. The Shark is more expensive than Bissell but it does to a better job at getting dirt out and off of the floors. The accessories that came with the Shark are very nice too though there are a few I probably never use. I do think that Shark could come down a bit on the price but all in all it is worth the extra, the washable filters are nice too. A good product light and easy to use for general household vacuuming tasks.

Shark Rocket a good vacuum

The Shark Rocket Upright is a great choice. Works exceptionally well on my hardwood floors. (Just make sure you buy extra pads so you have one to replace while the other is washing). Love the attachments that came with it. The small car/computer attachments are ingenious! I saw reviews about it being too heavy, but this is NOT THE CASE for me. Handles well, turns tight, and end is flexible enough to get into any corner or under any cabinet.

Light, handy, versatile!

I really like this Shark Rocket vacuum cleaner. It cleans my rugs very well and the fluffs up the pile of the rugs.  I can tell the difference compared to my old stick vacuum. It has only been three weeks using this cleaner, I only hope it lives up to its expectations!!

The item is great the only major issue I have is that Walmart gave me a tracking number that was completely wrong and said the package was delivered for over a week and then when I replied back to find out they got me in touch with the actual seller who then gave me another tracking number that was right and with his it arrived on time.

Great vacuum but 2 tracking number fiasco.

I liked the light weight and good suction.  However, it is top heavy and awkward to use for an older person.  You have to remove the entire unit with the cord to empty the dust cup.  There are crevices in the cup and I was unable to get dust and small particles out.  I did return it.

Heard alot about this product - was hoping the "great" reports would at least half would be true. Sad, but no.
I am 60, had no problem with weight being mainly in hand - expected that by pictures!
NOT pleased with performance - no, wasn't expecting to be as good as my Kirby - was realistic - looked for light, quick model for mainly hard surface cleaning, and a few area carpet clean-ups. Carpet head roller brush was not easy to handle, as brush constantly pulled in direction IT wanted to go - still did okay job on carpets, at least to make look good - having cats (3) every 10-15mini. was having to stop & clean the rotator brush, as light would come on! (that was DAILY). :(
Hard floor nozzle was a joke - if not for dust cleaning pad, would be USELESS - not well designed, POOR suction - wouldn't pick up a few grains of gravel brought in on boots....pushes them around.
Did NOT use attachments, as I discovered hard floor attachment hand VERY little suction (turned it over to try to check problem - AUGH! Design! Mind you, I have been a tech in vac business for years, & am head housekeeper in a local business - I KNOW what I'm talking about.
STRICTLY a vac for quick "clean look" on carpets, with minimal cleaning needed, and for those dust webs found high, out of hand reach. EXTREMELY disappointed - waste of my time.

Just hype....so sad!
