This was the best sauce ever and my whole family, which includes several other Gombos %26 Russo households in the Butler area miss and enjoyed it. We came here FOR the sauce and stayed as customers. But you took our sauce away so we don't shop here as much now.

Nonna's Sauce

Tastes good!  We added a little garlic, basil and crushed tomatoes (we like a lot of flavor!) and everyone thought it was all home made!

This is the best large can spaghetti/ pizza sauce at SAMs club. Add some sugar, garlic, onion, and oregano/parsley when cooking to enhance flavor. Very smooth. We bag and freeze 5 portions from one can.

We buy this all the time.  It is a bit sweet and bland for our tastes but we buy the same size can of Don Pepino Pizza Sauce (both products despite the different brand names are made by the same company) also from Sam's and mix the two at a 1:1 ratio.  Then we package portions and freeze them.  

You end up with a very inexpensive spaghetti sauce that with the addition of the pizza sauce tastes great.  My husband is Italian and even my mother-in-law thought this mixture was a homemade sauce!

Good -- but great when combined with pizza sauce

This sauce tastes terrible straight out the can. You maybe able to season it to help it a little but its better to start with a good base. I gave two stars instead of one bc the consistency is nice and the tomatoes are blended just right. 
It is neither very thin or too thick. When gou cook it, it doesnt thin out a lot.

Just pay a little more for a better product.
