Moscato d'Asti's low alcohol makes it a very versatile food companion. It pairs particularly well with almost any type of dessert. A classic Italian pairing is with fresh bread, salami, figs and melon. Moscato d'Asti also tastes wonderful with spicy Asian foods.We source the grapes for this wine from the Roero, Monferrato and Langhe regions in southern Piedmont. The first stage of Moscato production is a traditional white wine process. The second stage uses the Charmat method in which the wine undergoes a secondary fermentation in tanks and is bottled under pressure to produce light, gently sparkling bubbles and to preserve the fresh, fruit characteristics of the Moscato Bianco grapes.Many Moscato grape varieties exist, along with many styles for making wine from this versatile grape. But there is undoubtedly only one benchmark Italian Moscato: Moscato d'Asti DOCG. This sweet wine from the Piedmont region in northwestern Italy is known for its fragrant and aromatic bouquet and low alcohol content, which makes it incredibly pleasant to drink - and widely popular. I bought this wine one afternoon for my anniversary with my wife. I loved the bold sweet taste and it was a very savory wine. I recommend this product.

Very bold and tasty

Want to go no problem. This is my go to Moscato. It's not as sweet as the pink one and it taste so smooth. It's a great price for your money. We always get about three bottles for my family gatherings. I love the twist off on the bottle, you don't need tobottle opener.

I tried Ruffino DOCG Moscato d'Asti and it's exactly what I expect when I want something light, fun, and sweet. It pours a bright straw yellow and smells of white peach, orange blossom, and a hint of elderflower. The bubbles are gentle, not harsh, giving a soft sparkle on the tongue. Flavor-wise it reminds me of juicy pear, citrus peel, and sweet stone fruit with enough tartness to keep it from being cloying. The sweetness is there but doesn't overwhelm. Low alcohol makes it perfect for sipping earlier in the evening or enjoying with dessert. If you like bold dry wines, this isn't that, but if you want something easy, cheerful, and delicious, this Moscato hits the spot.

This is my absolute favorite white wine EVER!!!!. This brand of Moscato is sweet and savory, leaving you to want more. This wine is simply delicious and everyone that I ever shared a glass with agreed it is one of the best Moscato wines. This wine is affordable and I buy it by the case! If you like Moscato you will love this brand. You will not be disappointed.

Great flavor. This is a smooth and sweet white wine. It taste great on it's own, but enhance it with fresh fruit. The bottle is beautiful and light, reflective of their product. It's also very affordable.

Sweet wine

I usually love Ruffino wines and champagne, but this particular one was just not to my liking. It's a bit on the sweeter side, I wasn't expecting it to be so sweet. It's a fairly priced bottle though, especially if you're a sweet wine/champagne type of person.
