Great Cart, needs small improvements
This cart has been incredibly useful since we bought it. Our main purpose for the cart was to use it to take snacks, towels, and toys out to our pool so we didn't have to leave kids in the water. Since the purchase though, we have used it to bring groceries in from the car (in one trip), as a second temporary work surface inside, and to move everything from garden tools to storage boxes when the need arose. The cart itself is sturdy, the handles are comfortable, and the wheels glide nicely. The size and spacing of the shelves works well for our purposes, although it seems slightly bigger in person than in the pictures. We have had no problem with the handles coming out since the assembly includes screwing them in. As far as needed improvements, it definitely rides a little rough across our aging pavement, so bigger wheels would have been nice. It is fine on smooth and indoor surfaces. As other people have commented, there are no brakes, which means we have to block the wheels with something when it is on a (very) slight incline. There are also some rough, unfinished edges to the underside of the plastic shelves that have caused a few cuts (sandpaper should fix). The shelves have a low side on one of the long edges that we didn't notice until it was fully assembled. It is a nice feature, but it took some man handling and a hammer to put everything together, so I would doubt it could be disassembled without deforming the plastic or aluminum supports. All said, we still give it 5 stars for its usefulness. We've been looking for a similar cart for a while and this is the most affordable version we have found. Definitely recommend it!
