Great Grits

A pantry staple at our house.  Not intended to compete with the traditional style that requires longer prep and cooking time.  Quick and easy, good basic flavor variety, and very adaptable to add-ons to make them more tasty.  The guys in this house have no trouble fixing the instant grits for breakfast or any time the notion strikes.

I really like these. The butter flavor and plain are delicious, although the cheddar cheese flavor has a slight off-taste (which didn’t surprise me). I’d still rather have cooked from scratch grits, but for the speed and convenience of making these, they’re very good. As a girl-raised-in-the-South (aka “GRITS”) I certainly endorse these!
