About this item

Product details

Prime Series Conventional Motor Oil's anti-wear additives provide excellent wear protection of critical engine parts. A high level of dispersancy in Prime Series Motor Oils protects against deposit and sludge formation in stop-and-go driving, sustained high-temperature operation, and protects against corrosion. Their excellent high-temperature oxidation stability helps prevent viscosity increase and oil gelling in the crankcase. They help keep PCV systems clean to maintain smooth engine performance. SAE 5W30 is suitable for use in many older vehicles and a few late model cars and trucks, often those with larger 6-cylinder and V-8 high-performance engines. SAE 5W30 is also designated as a "resource-conserving lubricant" by API.

Good product, Service the purpose

I've been using this oil for the last year. It works the same as any branded competitor at a fraction of the price. I'll continue to use it as long as Sams keeps it in stock.

It's motor oil.

It's motor oil. Been using this for a couple years in my cars and truck, and soon in my garden tractor. No issues.

Excellent price!!! Meets all the pertinent specs.

I've use this oil on several cars and an RV with excellent results, less oil burn, and no problems. I've used it to replace synthetic. I change it on the same schedule and have the same results. I've compared the old oil to see if there is any difference. Color and smell virtually the same. Gas mileage the same and engine temp the same. No metal in the oil or magnet on the drain plug. Change oil just before the winter sets in. Get approximately 12000 miles to a change but now that I'm retired drive less between changes.
