This romaine lettuce was very fresh, crisp, and delicious. The smaller size made it easy to use for salads, wraps, and quick meals without much waste. The leaves stayed crunchy and fresh for several days, and the quality was excellent. I would definitely buy it again and recommend it to friends.

Fresh, crisp, and full of flavor

Purchased this at my local Sam’s Club and I love them.  I can take out one and it is just enough for sandwiches. Lettuce wraps or small salad.  Perfect for me!  I hope they keep them in stock because this is the only place I have seen them.  I will definitely buy them again!

Petit Romaine Lettuce

Can't eat bread on your sandwiches?  No problem, use two leaves of Romain Lettuce with a variety of coldcuts, add your favorite mustard, a little ketchup, a slice of tomato and red onion.  It is delicious, and it helps keep your glucose in line at the same time.

Mild taste

If you shop in store, you can usually pick nice produce. However, when relying on delivery, the picker tends to be gravitating toward poor quality produce items to fill the order so I try choosing the slightly pricier options among produce items in order to reduce the likelihood of getting the small-sized, old, or rotten, or damaged item selected for my delivery order. The petite romaine used to be a way to overcome the small heads with brown spots among regular romaine heads -- but here you can see one bag was full while the same product among 2nd bag the picker grabbed was  tiny, soft and floppy heads that only filled half the bag. Groceries being so expensive, I wish Sam's would cull these overripe and/or damaged produce items from shelves so pickers don't deliver them.

Selection/quality of delivered items

I was looking forward to trying this and really thought it would be tender lettuce. I was disappointed and ended up wasting a lot of it. I won’t purchase again.
