Perrin’s flagship Black Ale is a Dark Ale that’s counter-intuitive in that it pours dark as night but drinks light and easy, like a summer afternoon. It is a low-gravity, clean, and flavor-filled; giving off a bread-like aroma. A light bodied crisp yet flavorful dark ale and toasty with malt. This beer proves that deep colors do not signify rich beers. Perrin’s Black Ale is deceptively light on the tongue and offers hints of semi-sweet chocolate and nuances of fresh coffee. It is a versatile, year-round beer that is easy-to-enjoy in the summer, winter, fall, and spring.
