Im usually not a frozen chicken type of person but my daughter purchased these and cooked them and I was so surprised at how good they taste. Perfectly crisp on the outside and tender and juicy on the inside.

I purchased this item recently for the first time, I have already purchased a second bag.  My grandson was coming to stay with us for an extended visit and he is a big eater!  He really likes most meals I prepare for him but I have trouble keeping enough left overs on hand for his lunches.  These strips and perfect for him and my husband likes them too!

QUICK AND EASY

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We are loving these chicken strips! They are so versatile and crisp up so good. I air fried them at 350 for 7 minutes and added them to a salad. My toddler had them just with dipping sauce and loved them. These will be our go to from now on. Only downside was there was a hole in the bag so I had to put them in a ziplock to keep them fresh.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I made these for my 10 year old for dinner. To cook, I put it in my air fryer at 400 degrees for 10 minutes. It was cooked perfectly and my girl loved these crispy tenders. After her first bite she asked me to buy her more.

The resealing strip is thin and doesn't work. In this day and age is it too hard to engineer a reseal strip that works?! Did anyone try it before they mass produced? Stupid, going to buy Tyson on my next purchase.

Perdue Chicken

This is a "New Coke" moment for Perdue. Please change the "new and improved" Crispy Chicken Tenders back to the original recipe or at least make the original version available  as a "classic" version.  The new ones look better in the bag but the chicken texture is mushy. The bread doesn't cling to the chicken in the same way and worst of all there is a chemical aftertaste to the whole thing now. It's just bad.

"New and improved" is Worse

I bought this yesterday and my mom and I had it for dinner tonight.  I've never had a complaint about any Perdue product before, however this one doesn't measure up to Perdue standards.  The breading is too thick and not pleasant to chew like other crunchy breading.  Also, I could not detect any seasoning in the breading or the chicken.

Unexpected disappointment....

I have been buying the crispy chicken strips as my main protein source for so long. I have food intolerances and allergies, with ARFID developed as a result. This was my SAFE protein. It was clean and healthy enough to sustain me when I did not feel like preparing fresh chicken. Taking the recipe and "improving" it by cheapening it? Shame on you. I expected better from Perdue quality. Raise the price if you are so worried about profits, but leave the recipe alone. I know my two bags a week won't break the company, but it's two bags a week that I will not buy again. Absolute loss.

New recipe is poor quality. Not improved, cheap.

I bought these due to the Purdue brand name as well as them being an Instant Savings item. Very disappointed. I prepared them using the oven instructions.  None of the pieces were crispy. The coating was very bland and tasteless. Besides that, nearly every other piece had gristle. Microwave preparation was even worse, it turned out all rubbery and frankly inedible.  I might try deep frying some as a last resort before I throw them into the trash.

We used to buy the Tyson chicken strips and really liked them. When Sam's switched we got these. We've tried several bags and they're all the same. Every third strip is so tough and grisly that you can't eat it. Really disappointed and hoping Sam's will bring back the Tyson.
