My SO bought this bag and used the entire thing on the front yard. It was enough for 5 yards according to directions. Regardless, grasslings started sprouting within a week, so I would say these seeds are good. We will see if they can make it through the So Cal summer.

Just seeded existing yard, the bag is good and strong, doesn't tear easily.  I am concerned about how well it will do this far south.

I really liked Members Mark Grass seed better...this seed takes forever to grow

Not so Much

The seed is not germinating! No grass is growing even after a week of 70 degrees

I'm returning it

This quite possibly is the worst grass seed I ever used.  If I could give it 0 stars I would.  It's been 20 days since planting and there is hardly any growth.  The growth that is present looks very weak and likely won't survive. 
 I've used Scott's in the past with success however decided to try this brand since the bag was 8lbs larger and I need to use a lot of seed.

The bag says guaranteed to grow or your money back however it's not worth the hassle to try an get a refund based on what I read from other reviewers.  This is the worst grass seed I have used in 20+ years and now I have to wait until fall to reseed because the weather is getting hot and it's approaching summer.  So all that work I did in the spring was wasted and for nothing.  It's a shame a company can get away with selling a product this bad and I have been reading similar reviews on other websites as well so I am not alone.  

Avoid at all costs and stick with Scotts.

Worst grass seed I have used in 20+ years

This is the single worst grass seed I've ever bought. I have some thinning in my lawn and a few bare patches. I have meticulously cared for those areas and after 3 months hardly anything has grown. I feel completely ripped off the $50 I spent on it.
