We bought this to upgrade a glider we have had nearly 20 years. It was wooden with thin cushions. This chair, however, has thick seat and back cushions, swivels and glides smoothly almost feeling like a rocking motions. It mentioned that it is perfect for the nursery but we use it in our living room and everyone loves it.

My husband loves this set. Its so comfortable.

We bought this for our soon to arrive grandsons nursery. I wasn't sure at first because the nursery is black, white, and green with the chair being gray but it worked out perfect in the room. It's also very sturdy and oh so comfortable. My daughter loves it.

Nice chair and ottoman.  Got it for my wife for Christmas.  She got it early, due to a botched delivery of two ottmans and no chair.  Was able to fix problem by using chat box on Sam's club website.  
Easy to set up.  My wife is 5' 2" 115 lbs, l am 6'1" 180lbs and we both enjoy rocking our son to sleep in chair.  Appears to be well built.  Overall satisfied with product.

Great chair and ottoman!

I bought this chair for my bedroom and I am so pleased with it. The chair is small enough so that it doesn't overwhelm the space, but roomy enough to be quite comfortable. It looks more expensive than it is and was a great choice. I will now look for other products by this company.

So comfortable!

I bought this for a birthday gift. Needless to say it was "perfect this is what I was waiting for" was the reaction.. waited couple of weeks to write this review as to see if her reaction would be same in couple of weeks. Yup same reaction everytime she collapses in it... we have a no food rule on carpet. I saw few times rule broken as it is convenient to sit put your feet up and snack watch TV...

Perfect in one word

Great new chairs and ottoman.  However, I didn't realize that they were swivel gliders -- presents a little problem with children -- since they like to turn the chair in circles but this too shall pass.  They have been a great replacement for the recliners we had been using for 15 years (and they were already a few years old when we acquired them.)

GREAT REPLACEMENTS

Comfy chair with ottoman.  Delivered in a box that was pretty beaten up, so I  was concerned it might be damaged, but it wasn't.  The ottoman was delivered the next day. Delivery was kind of a nightmare, but I wrote it off as being an issue due to all the protests going on across the country. The chair and ottoman are very comfy. I use it in the living room, and it's decent enough quality for the price. Initially I thought the combination of chair and ottoman was too big for the size of my living room, but I moved the ottoman off to the side and put a tray on top, so it looks like coffee table. Then when I need it I swivel the chair around so I can put my feet on it.

Comfy chair

They rock; not glide. The chair is nicely made. The problem is when you sit in it, it tilts forward so you feel as if you're going to tip over. Purchased 2 of them so it's a design issue.

Forward tipping

After a single month of use, we started to notice a very loud squeak in the rocking mechanism, followed by the feeling of grinding bearings, then finally, we noticed a large grease stain on our carpet. Bottom line... don't buy.

Also beware! Sam's club has a 270 day return policy on all online orders. I was turned away at the store, but Online customer service accepted a refund, and arranged pick-up.
