We haven't really been able to fully use it however the telescope is well made and we expect years of exceptional star watching.

Nat. Geographic telescope

For miles

Attractive telescope. Assembly instructions are much less than desirable! Still haven't found a way to view the sky with any kind of clarity. Magnification is minimal, but inverter helps with terrestrial images (sold separately). Not up to expectations yet. Could benefit from technical support during assemblage and usage.

Still Grounded while shooting for the stars.

Haven't been able to make it work

First, the unit comes with a very poor instruction manual and all the online one is a copy of it.  No info on operation of the scope various dials and azimuth markings on it.  Secondly, it shows you can see some galaxies, but couldn't see one.  Also could not see any planets except the moon.  Finally, went to the NG site for chat and not response.   Guess what is going back for refund after black friday.

Poor instructions and very limited power

Instructions to assemble are the worst, missing hardware.  This will be returned first thing in the morning.
