I've been really impressed  with the Michelin Primacy LXT tires. They deliver a noticeably smooth and quiet ride, and the handling feels confident in all kinds of weather. The traction is solid, the steering response is crisp, and the overall comfort levels is exactly what I expected from Michelin. I highly recommend for anyone looking to upgrade their ride with something dependable and Premium.

5/5 - Smooth,  Quiet,  and Confident on the RoadJoe

Despite all the negative reviews, these came standard on my santa cruz and I've driven them in Boston winters, the jersey shore, construction jobsites etc and they've performed super well. Notably, driving back up to Boston in january after winter break, I was cruising at 70 on the highway while it was snowy/rain mix and I felt totally safe in the grip department. In fresh snow on roads that are untreated they perform decent but nowhere near a dedicated winter or all-weather 3pmsf tire. I've towed 3,000 lbs with them on road trips a few times and they've done well. At 30K miles right now and very minimal wear showing. Not sure how people are getting horrible results with these but I've actually really enjoyed them. Only downside is snow traction, but that's to be understood considering it's an all-season and not 3pmsf. However, for the price, get something like the Cooper Traction Command--a far better all-around tire that is 3pmsf rated and will do the job in any condition while providing most of the primacy's handling and comfort benefits.

Really Solid Tire

Very disappointed.  36,000 miles and 2 are at 1/32 on 2 and 3/32.  

I purchased a new Jeep Grand Cherokee from my local Jeep dealership with these tires on it.  I was very pleased to see Michelin tires on it.  We are Michelin strong here in Greenville, SC.  I have always been a big fan of the Primacy tires in the past.  I have had them go 85,000 on another SUV.  They were not LTX's back then.  Also, These LTX's are much noisier than what I am used to from Michelin. 
 
We did everything right from the beginning.  Always rotated at the dealership.  Air always monitored and filled at the specifications.  36,000 miles on a brand new vehicle is unbelievable to me.  Now I am on the hook to buy new tires because the dealership cannot even rotate them based on the tread.  The dealership  was no help either.  Washed their hands with it and told me to take it up with Michelin.  Then I saw the ratings of this tire on the Michelin site.  Seems I am not alone.

Disappointing Tread Life

These tires were quiet and performed well but they only lasted 29k miles! But when I read the warranty it says the treadlife warranty doesnt apply to OEM installed tires even if you are the original owner of the car. Am i reading that right? This feels like way too few miles for a set of tires with normal use.

Quiet tires but short life!

The 265/65/17 Privacy tires came on my new 2023 Nissan Frontier SV 4WD Truck.  All four tires have 20-40 cuts and chips missing on the tread due to driving on limestone gravel roads for approximately 50 days/year for 3 years.  The chips are fingernail sized and approximately 3/8" -1/2" deep.  The left front tire is now leaking and becomes flat overnight.  These tires came standard on a new 4WD truck and should survive small limestone gravel.  The rubber seems to be entirely too soft for a truck tire.  I do not recommend these tires.

But literally blew out at 10,000 miles..
No nails or nothing..
I've gone through a lot of tires in my life and i have never the had a 10,000 mile tire blow out...
I visually check my tires every day, and check air pressure once a week so yeah these tires are definitely low quality and too soft!!!!!

So I bought a Chevy Tahoe in 2024 brand new from dealership and these were the tires that came with we only use it for daily trips like taking kids to school etc. so far we’ve had to pay to get 2 fixed because of leaks and now a third one needs it. This is insane how low quality the tires are

It’s an all season tire but I wouldn’t recommend it for anyone driving in snow. I’ve driven multiple all season tires in the snow without issue in my lifetime. The Michelin Defender is one of the best tires, not sure what Michelin was doing with this one. I have 31k miles on these tires on my 2022 Nissan Frontier. I have 300 lbs of sand over the wheels in back in winter. I slide around way too much in these. I’m not even sure I trust Michelin with tires after dealing with these pieces of junk.

Horrible in Winter

The Primacy LTX tires on my 2024 Jeep Grand Cherokee 4XE (with 37,000 miles) are at a 1 tread (on two of them) and a 2 tread (on two of them, and I was told by the dealer that all four need to be replaced ASAP.  The car isn't even two years old and nearly all of the mileage is open highway.  This seems way too soon to need to replace???  Does the 55k mileage warranty cover any of this??

Primacy LTX

My wife and I bought a 2025 Nissan frontier it has the Michelin premise LTX 265 6517 tires on it from the factory. After having it for a couple of months, my wife and I made a long trip on the interstate. I noticed a vibration in the vehicle. When we got back I took it to the Nissan dealership. They've balanced the two front tires and gave it back to me. Still have the same problem. I told them it was in the rear tires. After driving it, the second time still has another vibration in it at the 76 mph. After about the 3rd or fourth trip to the Nissan dealership, they say that this is normal in a Nissan. I say it is the tire. The vibration even though they're balancing the tires is not coming out. There is something wrong with the tires. I've called all these numbers that everyone tries to give you to contact mitchellin but to no avail. You cannot talk to a person and they don't ask the right questions on the phone call. Any help that Michelin tire corporation could give me in this situation? I would love to know.
