I have run Michelin tires for many, many, years. They are not the cheapest tires by a long shot, but, I think they are the best, and I am willing to pay the difference. I have never had a complaint about the tires. I have run them on all my vehicles for years, and usually get around 60,000 miles or more on them. They are quiet on the road, have a good tread pattern that works well in snow. Not too aggressive to be noisy. I will continue to drive Michelin tires on all my vehicles

Great Tires

Very satisfied with my new Michelin LTX A/T2 tire size LT265/70R17 so far on my 2023 Silverado 1500 work truck 4 x 4 crew cab. I was happy to see that the siping looks like it's visible all the way down the tire tread, not like the older one. 06/13/2026

All around great tires for my work vehicle.

I love the way these tires look and handle on my truck. I bought a 2500 Silverado and put these LXT A/T2 'on and man do they look Good!!! This tire is massive. I just got a 37' pull behind camper, and the truck is so very stable. The A/T2's make driving my 2500 Silverado fun, and I know these tires help keep me safe on the hiway.

Rural driveways are challenging especially in the winter. I need traction on and off the hillside. Snow on top of ice this year locked us in for about a week. Both frigid powder and sloppy melting snow give different gripping issues. At no time did I “sling mud” climbing our back fields.

Traction in winter

I really like the Michelin M/S LTX tires.  Second set on my E350.   Wish they still had the outline white letters.   They preform well on gravel roads and farm fields, yet handle wet pavement extremely well.   The 10 ply tires have never let me down with heavy loads and trailers.

This is my 2nd set of the LTX AT2. 1st set did not do as well but it was my fault by not rotating as recommended. (New truck off lot) 0-Zero miles) 1st set went to 45000 miles could have gone a little longer but choose to replace. 2nd set I was diligent about rotating every 5000 oil change. Now at 96000 and they look great! Nothing but great experience with these tires! Not only to mention look at the reviews and see the company is responding back to customers. I say that is a rare customer service these days. Great job Michelin Company!!!

Best tires I ever had!

I work in Landfill pipeline so I spend as much time driving through mud and waste as I do pulling trailers on the highway. 

First experience, tires came stock on 2019 GMC 2500. In the bed I carried 100gal fuel cell and a full stocked tool box, the AT/2's lasted around 40k miles, during that time the road noise was very low and I only patched 2 tires. My company replaced those tires with a set of Geolanders, I could not hear the radio over the road noise.

Second experience:
2020 Chevy 2500 LT, job box in the bed with roughly 500lbs of tools, I replaced 1 tire at 17k miles due to spinning and catching rebar. After that situation I used 4x4 even on dry dirt or gravel if the top few inches were loose. I have a 14k lbs flatbed trailer that I also pull loaded. I currently have 69.5k miles on the original tires without ever rotating the tires, I have not had to plug any tires. I travel from the Midwest to the gulf states in all weather types, the main thing you have to do to make these tires last is know their abilities and adjust your driving in those conditions.

Cons: traction when accelerating or braking is not great in slick conditions even with wet blacktop.

Pros: Durable tire construction all the way around.
Low road noise. Handles temperature fluctuations well when pulling trailers.

Most durable tire

First off, I loved, loved, loved this tire.  I did a lot of research before I bought my first set. They were quiet, they grip well, and good in all weather. My first set I put over 65,000 miles on them. My second set I put 85,000 miles, and I could have gone another 10k, but opted for a new set before winter. This set is different than the other two. The composition must be different. After 5,000 miles and tested in the snow, they work well, but they  are really loud. Annoyingly loud. They sound like float tires and really drone.  This will probably be the last set of tires I put on this truck, given the mileage. Hopefully they at least perform like the previous set. Maybe you all will have a different experience.

3rd time isn't a charm

Haven't received the tire yet , said they would call when it comes in, hard to know if I like it or not

Have had these tires for 2 weeks and they are absolutely TERRIBLE on wet pavement. My car slid sideways at 25mph. Cannot accelerate normally without spinning tires. Cannot brake without the traction giving out. This is the absolute worst experience I’ve had with a tire.
