Have tried most breads. Merita old fashion seems to be more consistent with soft texture and good taste. Get a loaf sometimes with holes that you wouldn't want to put condiments on. Seems all bread companies have lowered their standards for one reason or other.

Overall seems best choice.

I've been buying this bread awhile because it's always so soft.  the one I got today was line a brick, not even edible

My husband loved this bread.  This time he says it's too airy and the texture isn't soft.
