Winter hardy in most areas, lilies will return and bloom for many years, adding a touch of elegance and color to your outdoor space.</p> <h3>Lily Soil Prep Instructions</h3> <p>Lilies are versatile and can be planted under trees or among shrubs. They thrive in porous soil that drains well but still retains enough water for the roots. If your soil is heavy clay and drains slowly, or very sandy and does not hold water, consider adding organic soil amendments such as peat moss or ground bark. A 3-4" layer of soil amendment, along with some fertilizer, incorporated into the soil to a depth of 10" can greatly enhance the growth of your lilies.</p> <h3>Planting Instructions</h3> <p>Start by digging a hole at the recommended depth and spacing. Place the bulb(s) in the hole and cover with soil. If you're planting a large quantity of bulbs in one bed, it's best to excavate the entire area to the recommended depth, work fertilizer into the bottom of the trench, place the bulbs, and then cover them all at once. Water thoroughly at planting.</p> <h3>Care for Your Lilies</h3> <p>While your lilies are actively growing, water frequently and thoroughly so that the water reaches the roots. All of them bloom bery fast.  i love my lilys.

Bought these to match some existing lilies, but unfortunately the entire bag had various amounts of mold. Two bulbs were unusable/rotten, planted the remainder in hopes that at least a couple were salvageable.

Disappointed

10 out of 16 had mold 
I've had this exact product several years ago and they are blooming every year.
I thought I wanted a replacement not a refund, but after seeing the same problem with others, maybe not

moldy bulbs

Bulbs were squashed and moldy. None were salvageable.

Don't waste your money

For this price point, am very disappointed. I bought the Tigerlily and Asiatic assorted mix lilies. Both were sadly not fresh. Am unable to return online without calling customer service. Ugh. Won't buy more bulbs through Sam's out of precaution.
