<h3>Attract Pollinators with Phlox</h3> <p>Phlox is a vibrant and fragrant flower that comes in a variety of bold colors including white, pink, purple, blue, and red. Not only does it add a splash of color to your garden, but it also serves as a magnet for pollinators. Pollinators play a crucial role in the ecosystem by aiding in the reproduction of most flowering plants through the transfer of pollen from bloom to bloom. Unfortunately, the population of these vital creatures has been declining due to habitat loss and disease, making the addition of pollinator-friendly plants like Phlox to your garden even more important.</p> <h3>Planting and Care Instructions</h3> <p>Phlox thrives in porous soil that drains well but still retains enough water for the roots. If your soil is heavy clay that drains slowly, or sandy and doesn't hold water, consider adding organic soil amendments such as peat moss or ground bark. To plant, spread a 3-4" layer of soil amendment, add fertilizer, and incorporate both into the soil to a depth of 10". Dig a hole and place the root(s) at the recommended depth and spacing. Cover with soil and water thoroughly.</p> <h3>Large Quantity Planting</h3> <p>If you're planting a large quantity of Phlox in one bed, it's recommended to excavate the entire area to the recommended depth, work fertilizer into the bottom of the trench, place the plants, and then cover the roots all at once. This method ensures that all plants receive the same amount of nutrients and water.</p> <h3>Watering and Fertilizing</h3> <p>While Phlox is actively growing, it requires frequent and thorough watering so that the water reaches the roots. The bulbs were healthy but in one of the boxes I only received 7 instead of 8.  I already have this plant and I must say it is one of my favorites.  They come up every year and the flowers last for most of the summer.  This plant is a must!

Beautiful flowers that last!

There were only 6 of the 8 roots in the box. They were extremely dry and crunchy. When planting, I had to be extra careful as the roots were snapping as I was gently trying to get the soil around them. I just planted these yesterday and hope at least three grow.

Very dried out roots. Not all roots were there.

Was excited when I bought these since I have bought flower roots/bulbs before and had good success (from other places), but not only was I shorted on my roots (got 6 rather than the 8 advertised) but its been 2 weeks since I planted them and nothing has come up still. I even soaked the roots before planting to give them a good shot. Just get your bulbs from Aldis if you have one near you. My lillies and dahlias from there are doing wonderful

The roots were very dried and dead looking. Only five were included in the box. I tried planting them but I doubt they will come up.  

I bought Lily bulbs and they were nice but this package was horrible.

I was very excited to find these at Sam’s Club because I’ve been wanting large garden phlox for a few years. Unfortunately, I was horribly disappointed because they did not grow at all. I tried many things to “wake them up”and get them to grow but, they are just DEAD!

Five dried up dead roots.  Why would they even sell this?!

Ripped off

This purchase was a waste of time and money.

Disappointing- I Received dried out roots, and only 5 instead of 8. Unsure if they will grow.
