We regularly use it for smoking by soaking flavored wood chips in water for 20 minutes, tossing them onto the fire, and letting the dome lock in that irresistible smoke. 

Built to last, this unit is rock solid, heavy-duty, and expertly constructed. It offers dual functionality, coming with both a solid dome for effective smoking and a screen dome perfect for relaxing around a traditional campfire.  
(Note: Assembly is definitely a two-person job to manage its substantial weight.) 

This is a product that I would Highly Recommend to my family and friends.  Well worth the money spent on it

Another nice feature is the lower mesh storage area, which is convenient for holding wood or accessories. Overall, it's easy to use, easy to maintain, and transitions smoothly from grilling to relaxing around the fire.
