The stand works great. I did notice that the axles for the wheel and the tubing that the umbrella sits into could be prone to rust. What I did was, I coated them with plenty of heavy duty grease. Living in Florida near the beach. It probably wouldn't last that long unless I did this preventative measure very simple to do and I think it's gonna make the stand last much longer.

Super heavy umbrella stand

Heavy and sturdy umbrella stand for outside. They weigh 60 lbs each so make sure you have someone strong to help lift them! That being said, I felt comfortable with them not getting blown over. They are replacing 35 lb umbrella stands that rusted out after 2 seasons. Let’s hope these last longer!!

This umbrella stand is perfect on our pool deck.  Easy to assemble and heavy enough to withstand strong winds.  Pleased with this purchase.

Heavy and will hold the umbrella even in the wind.  It does have wheels so it is easy to move around the patio.

good quality excellent price

Really nice super heavy umbrella base. I’ve paid twice this price for less quality before. Has two wheels. I scratched the heck out of our Trex deck though with it when I scooted it under our table (I didn’t realize which side the wheels were on until too late). It was my fault but yikes.

Rally nice base

60# base with rollers on bottom works well on a deck. Put large umbrella in it but any gust of wind can flip it. Now have it tethered to deck railing with a bungee strap.

This was the second one that I purchased.  It worked great while it lasted, however, I guess water got into the base because it rusted and snapped off after about 3 years.

Works well, but has a problem

Base does NOT fit under the table.  Table, chair and Umbrella are shown as part of a set but the Umbrella doesn't fit under the table. These are from 2 different companies sourced by Sam's and rebadged by Sam's.  Someone needed to see if the umbrella fits under this table or not before creating all the marketing media pictures.

The poles that screw in were deformed or sliced so that you could t connect the pieces together. So far I’ve had one replaced by Sam’s and the other by the company (I requested just the tubes/poles that were damaged) and I got 2 more sets of damaged ones, even worse than the first! Damaged before being wrapped and shipped. Hoping the 3rd replacement is functional!

This umbrella base is heavy duty as reviewed. However, it only lasts one or two seasons max because it collects water in the bottom of the umbrella support pipe, which causes it to rust and break off. I will not buy another one.  I will find one that allows water to escape.
