About this item

Product details

Abundant Fruit Yield and Longevity

Blueberries are a trouble-free addition to your garden, offering a lifetime of enjoyment with minimal care. Each bush can yield up to 8 lbs of fruit from early to late spring, making them a rewarding choice for gardeners. Their decorative foliage adds beauty to your landscape throughout the seasons.

Optimal Growing Conditions

Blueberries thrive in sunny spots but can also grow in partially shaded areas. They prefer well-drained, acidic soil with a pH level between 4.5 and 5.5. Plant them in the spring after the danger of frost has passed to ensure healthy growth. With proper care, these plants will flourish and provide delicious fruit year after year.

Planting Instructions

Follow these simple steps to plant your blueberry bushes:

  • Remove the plant(s) from packaging and soak the roots for no more than two hours if dry. Do not submerge the plant.
  • Choose a full sun location that receives 6+ hours of direct sunlight daily.
  • Dig a hole slightly larger than the spread of the plant's root system.
  • Place the plant in the center of the hole, spread out the roots, and backfill with soil.
  • Firm the soil around the roots and water thoroughly at planting.
  • Add 2-3 inches of mulch to conserve moisture.

Versatile and Delicious

Blueberries are not only easy to grow but also versatile in their uses. Enjoy them fresh, or use them to create jams and jellies. Their nutritional value and delightful taste make them a favorite for many households.

Dead Blueberry plants

When my blueberry plant arrived, the Jersey was dead and the Patriot was 1/2 dead. The packaging it was packed in was completely dried. No moisture at all. I immediately planted them hoping they would show some life. No such luck. Don't waste your money.

What could go wrong?

I ordered four 2-packs. Two packages arrived intact, with one dead Patriot. Two packages were misdelivered to another state, so I had to request replacements. When I went to plant the bushes, the replacement packages contained only Jersey bushes, despite the package clearly stating "1 Blueberry Jersey, 1 Blueberry Patriot." For my $66, I now have 6 Jerseys, 1 living Patriot and 1 dead one.
