This milk was the main reason for getting Sam's Club membership a couple of decades ago.  It was so much cheaper than the stores, and you only needed to buy one at a time unlike their competitor which sells in pairs.  It was under $2 while stores were around $3+.  Then after the big dairy increase years ago where all milk was about the same price, and much higher, afterwards when the price started to drop, Sam's didn't drop way below the other stores.  Barely a deal anymore.  So if I'm at Sam's, and need milk, then I'll get it.  Once in a great while, even Ralph's has it on sale for cheaper ($3.29).  I've never had an issue with Sam's milk either.  Long expiration and usually good even a few days afterwards.

the price can't be beat (currently) however, it sometimes expires before we finish a full gallon ( i hate to be wasteful)

The MM milk used to be great and the go-to for my family. Unfortunately the quality isn't good anymore. Twice my kids said the milk tasted weird while there were still a week before expiration. And surely they tasted different to me too. The price is also not that appealing compared to other grocer stores brand.

Not as good as before

Usually I can get milk from Sam's club with at least 10 days before the 'Use before date' expires. This time I have 5 days to finish a gallon of milk. I'm sure I'll be dumping at least a half gallon down the sink on this last gallon I bought.

Wouldn't buy

Went sour within one day. I don’t know if the batch was bad or if the gallon that we bought had been left out.

We got a bad one.

This is my usual go-to for milk, but I recently purchased 2 gallons and they both had a funny taste. Not sour, but definitely off a bit. It was ok with some things, but i ended up dumping about half of one gallon as it seemed to get worse.
