Product details

Exotic and Delicious Mangos

Indulge in the exotic and sensuous flavor of Mangos. These tropical fruits are a delight to the senses, offering a sweet symphony on your tongue with their tender and slightly stringy texture. The unique tropical environment where these mangos are grown imparts a fragrant aroma to the fruit, reminiscent of sun-ripened fruit with multicolored skin.

Identifying Ripe Mangos

Unlike other fruits, mangos do not reveal their ripeness by appearance alone. To determine if a mango is ready to eat, one must touch and smell it. A light squeeze will indicate the firmness or tenderness of the flesh. If there's a slight give, where your fingers pressed, the mango is likely ready to eat. If it also emits a fragrant, sweet tropical melon-like aroma, then it's definitely ready to be savored.

Ripening Mangos at Home

One of the unique features of mangos is their ability to be coaxed into ripeness simply with patience. By placing a mango in a brown paper bag and leaving it at room temperature for a day or two, you'll be rewarded with juicy tenderness that runs down your chin with every bite.

Fresh vs. Dried Mangos

These mangos are not dried but can be easily converted into dehydrated mango slices at home. This fresh alternative to freeze-dried mango results in greater preservation of flavor. You can also enjoy them fresh with a sprinkle of salt or chili powder and a squirt of lime.

Origin of the Mangos

These are conventionally grown mangos sourced from different parts of the world depending on the time of year. They are grown in either Mexico, Brazil, Ecuador, or Peru, offering a taste of the tropics no matter where you are.

Excellent mangoes!

For the most part these are excellent mangos. Choose wisely. If they are oozing, they've already started to become over ripe. If you store them with other fruit they ripen beautifully!

Delicious mangos

After ripening for 7 to 8 days, the mangos have a sweet smell and the pulp is delicious without too much fiber. This is how good mangos should be. I even freeze the mango chunks and eat them later. They are just as delicious after freezing.

Biggest mangoes I’ve ever seen!!!

These mangoes were really sweet. As mentioned in title, giant. I went back the next week to buy more and they were out. 😟. I hope they have them next year and I’ll buy 2 boxes instead of one!
