[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love this kayak in fact I like it so much I bought a second one. Unfortunately the seat clip broke during a trip. Lifetime was great with their response time and sending me replacement parts. Not only did they give me the part I needed but they gave me a spare. Great customer service!

Perfect for our needs

I love my Hydros kayak.  The hull glides nicely through the water thus less effort paddling vs the Daylite.  There was a crease (defect) in the seat backrest.  One call to Lifetime customer care and they are mailing me a replacement backrest.  They stand behind their products.

Great customer support

I'm very happy with the quality of the kayak given it's reasonable price for a newbie. But the Customer Service is top notch. While transporting in an admittedly fragile state, I lost a seat clip. I reached out to CS via email and received a response from Darwin who offered to replace the part free (both cost and shipping). When I was researching kayaks, and looking at reviews, one thing that struck me more than anything else was how satisfied people were with Lifetime's customer service. Aside from price, that was my main reason for buying my kayak. Thanks for impressing me!

Price + Customer Service = Fantastic!

I love my hydros kayak. I've used it all summer on lakes and rivers.  With scupper plugs in, sometimes I stay completely dry. Scupper plugs are not included but they are inexpensive.  I can slide the kayak on my SUV roof racks by myself.  I'm in my late 40s, 5'5" 170 lbs and not too athletic.  On my SUV, I protect the fin style antenna with half a pool noodle, and lay a bath mat over the pool noodle and back of vehicle to protect the rear from getting scratched as I push the kayak on to the roof.

When I called customer service, they were excellent and very friendly.

Sturdy

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I rented these from the Lifetime store in Clearfield. My boyfriends daughter is 5, and she had never been kayaking before so we decided to take her out. We went to a small local pond to where we could see if she liked it. She had a blast!! She had the most fun going from one Kayak to the other. They are stable enough that she didn't tip us over as she made the transition. We also let her paddle for a little while and she got the hang of it pretty fast, thanks to the light weight paddle. We are definitely looking to buy some for the whole family now because of the quality of the product.
