We purchased this item as our previous refrigerator ice maker expired. having the opportunity to have multiple ice makers was an easy choice. With that said, everything on this LG has been better then expected. We love the craft ice, the door in door is a great feature, and the amount of useable space is excellent.

We did have a small challenge that the warranty people resolved quickly and with an extra smile. Overall, we are very pleased with this purchase.

The refrigerator is loaded with conveniences.

Best appliance purchase I ever made!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We had to upgrade to a new fridge because our old one stopped working and this was one we had our eye on. We finally purchased it and we are thrilled! The space inside is unbelievable- it is so functional and sleek! My husband loves the craft ice maker and my kids’ favorite feature is the door in door window so they can see what’s inside. I love it all!! Definitely worth every penny!! Amazing product.

Amazing refrigerator

We LOVE Fredericka Fridge (AKA Freddie), our new LG French door w Craft ice maker and the cool accessible door that response to two knocks. 
Took us a while: Freddie did NOT deliver ice within the 48 hours window, so we began to doubt her gender. At 72 hours, we called LG. Got great service, overall, but one technician suggested we reset freezer to 0C, when LG website suggests it should be -4C for best ice production. Nonetheless, scheduled a visit by LG service technician the next Wednesday. Over the weekend, Freddie, began delivering ice in the upper ice maker, and by Monday she was making Craft ice. So on Tuesday, we cancelled the visit of the LG technician. 
So far Freddie is fun and works very well.

My only other con would be shelf adjustments could be better.Also with automatic water dispenser would dispense the cup of water without having to keep cup up against paddle.

Nice fridge other than craft icemaker quit working

It had the features I needed, and some I didn't realize I wanted. One item is still an issue, and it's not clear how to solve.
Feature wise I was looking for a french door fridge with an additional drawer that I use for cheese (yes it's usually full). The InstaView door is a nice to have, and we use it a lot, so a definite plus. The Craft ice maker was a surprise like. We were thinking that regular ice would be fine, but find the craft-ice our go-to for refillable bottles as it does a great job of cooling the liquids without melting too fast, so it also survives a few refills. Will definitively recommend.

The one major disappointment is the WiFi. I've tried 4 different routers (Linksys, TP-Link, Netgear & the ISP router), both mesh and regular, contacted support, followed all of their recommendations, but still can't get it to connect.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I ordered this refrigerator in March. It was delivered in May after much anticipation. It does not make enough ice. It is a large capacity refrigerator. Unfortunately that makes it too deep for me to reach items at the back of the top shelf. The shelves aren’t adjustable enough. They limit how items can be stored. Because it’s so deep it’s impossible to see what’s at the back of the shelves. The refrigerator isn’t made for a cooks kitchen. I am a cook.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought this about 6 months ago. Craft ice maker has already broken, they sent out a repair and it still does not work. Repairman says he fixes LG refrigerators every day all day. Only solution LG has for this problem is to keep replacing the ice maker. The fridge is shallow and really does not hold as much as I thought it would due to design. The freezer is also shallow, the top shelf does not slide back far enough to access the bottom shelf easily. I do not recommend.
