I bought this Lego set for a friend , I actually have no idea how well the Lego set looked after it was built. I do know that the price seemed fair for a Lego set. My friend is an avid Nintendo  collector and  requested this as a gift. I would buy  this Lego set if my teen asked for this since she took loves Lego.

Simple build process and the end result is quite stellar. I just wish it would have taken a bit longer to build, but at 400-and-something pieces, I knew it would undoubtedly be a fairly quick build. Either way, the end result will put a smile on your face.

Return to your childhood!

This is one of the best Lego sets I’ve ever put together and for the price. It was a very fun and affordable build. I keep it next to my old game boy and I found myself reaching over to turn it off because it looks so realistic.
I highly recommend this Lego set to anyone who enjoys Nintendo or just Lego themselves.

Wonderful

This is one of the coolest Lego sets I've ever purchased! It's worth the price! It's so cool that it has 2 changeable game cartridges that can go INTO the Gameboy. Its got a cool screen that changes depending the way you move it. And the buttons are even pressable! Its just SO COOL.

One of the coolest Lego sets ive ever seen!

Bought this for my partner for Valentine's and it was a hit. It’s a really cool build, especially with the retro Game Boy details. We’ve been working on it together and it’s been a blast. Definitely recommend it if you want something fun to do as a couple!

Great for a date night project

Lego and outrageous prices anymore.  This set is really cool and great detail, but $60 bucks, I can almost buy a real refurbished one.  The design is spot on, and creative how bottons work, and the cartridge actually goes in.  Yes, I'd recommend because Legos are timeless, but I might not be able to say that anymore if the prices keep going up.

I purchased this as a gift for my brother. The price was very affordable, especially for a lego set of this size. My brother absolutely loved it as we have both been big Nintendo fans since we were little. He loves that you can change out the display screen. This is a great set for any Nintendo lover.

Unique and Fun build

Honestly the lego bameboy is flawless. From the working buttons, to the removable game cartridges it has  everything you would want in a lego gameboy. I hope they make more lego videogame consoles and give us a full Sega Genesis to go with that controller.

I'm incredibly happy with this set. The feel of the buttons when pressed, and the removal of the cartridges instantly brings back a lot of memories of playing Tetris and Mario. Definitely a lot of great thought went into this set and I'm blown away by the attention to detail.

Can't say enough about this set. From true button smashing, on/off slide click to the cartridges, this build is perfection. From the first bag, you feel the nostalgia flowing through your 8 year old self. Creators absolutely nailed this and the small details, rounded corners, build mechanics make this set feel solid. Cannot express enough how perfect this set is. Barely had it 24 hours and I've sent probably 30 messages to friends. Amazing.

Packaging and description is misleading.  It does not operate.  No electronics. Very small , hidden description stating No digital , no lights etc.
